I am in Australia so the products you use are not available here. I think I need spritz at least as when I tried to use my barrel hair curler my hair kept slipping out. The curler is not quite 1 inch thick. I burned my head when I tried using it ages ago. Anyways will keep watching and learning. I am the 85year old that wrote yesterday. Thank you very much Joan.

I’m sorry you can’t get the same products in Australia, but you can probably get similar ones - look for styling taffy, styling puddly or clay, texture spray, leave in conditioner. I love this! My pixie is finally long enough on the top to get a curling iron in it. I wear bandannas and headbands all the time and I really want to try this one! It's such a pain to get them to stay in place. I know the wire will help. I'm also going to try out the whole pinup thing (makeup, clothes, hair, etc.). I think it would be fun. I was concerned about my short hair, so this is perfect! Now to figure out how to do it with glasses! I have lots to learn, but this is a great start. Thanks again! This looks so cool and showing it as you did it with no editing really helps. I’ve recently got a pixie cut and yes, like you it needs trimming, thinning and slicing to get the shape back. I’ve taken to cutting it myself with my husband just cutting a straight line at the back and vertical cut along it then I do the rest. I dry it differently each day practically but going on a cruise next year 🤞🏻and this style will really switch it up. Love, love love it 🥰 Thank you so much for sharing 👏🏻💞

Your such a God Send! I just ran upon your video on doing make up and it was purrfect for me. I also just watched the styling brush hairdryer. The only thingy is with my hair I'd rather use a 3/4 barrel instead of a one inch. I had a Mohawk in my picture but it's a lot shorter now. And I love my ☕ coffee too. I rescue, foster and bottle feed kittens tis why I said Purrfect! Oh, and your voice is so soothing for when I watch UA-cam videos at bedtime.

I love this style 💕 I have just grown out my short brush cut into a slightly longer length with an undercut. My hair is medium thickness and super straight. My hairstylist always wants to put gel product in my hair but I don’t like how it makes my hair feel. I do put mousse in my hair prior to blow drying it. Your cute hairstyles are making me want to try different products and curl my hair more. Thanks for posting.
Fun style. You look Great! Do the Bristles hurt your head..how stiff are they? You really have thick hair! The barrel is 1" size...do they have a 3/4 " rode...does the iron have heat settings?
Hey Donna - nope the bristles don’t hurt my head thankfully. I never found one that was 3/4”. The iron doesn’t have varying heat seatings, it’s just on or off and it’s really hot so you have to be careful. Have a great day! 👱🏻🌻

I do my own hair cuts to get rid of the dye I cut it to an inch on the top and a half inch on the sides and back. Now it is all over silver gray.... I just turned 75 the 12th of December and I wanted it all natural...well except for the light auburn I was born with and I guess this is it. Lol. Now that it has grown about an inch...I'm thinking of going for a silver faux hawk. What do you think. By the way just found you tonight. Love your hair.
