I really like it when you jump into the bible study at the beginning and then tell a story at the end. That way the bible study doesn't get short sheeted because your story telling went too long.

The more I follow people like you, the more I feel the faith. As a 40 year old man that grew up in the south with all love for every man or woman black and white...I have biracial children, but I had lost my faith in the Lord my God Almighty. I have been perverted by the ways of the world. And I don't claim any political party because they're both perverted in their own ways according to the ways of the Lord and I see now because of y'all that there's only one way and that's God's way not man's. @Yaaqob Yisrael No one claimed to be commanders of ducks here. The title They Chose, not me, is their choice. But I do believe in they're beliefs. I KNOW they don't command ducks, God does. And the Fact that you actually believe the branding of their company makes them true believers that they actually command ducks further deducts your intelligence from this conversation. You are petty at best, and uneducated at least. Duck Commander is a name they chose bc they have the best imitation of said foul species vocal callings known to mankind thus far. Which enabled people like me who hunt and grow crops to provide food for my family to live off of year to year to year. You Sir, are ignorant in you words and way of thinking, because I wasn't praising them for being commanders of ducks. I was praising them on being Prophets and promoting the scripture of my Bible, and the good words of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So you may speak all the foolishness you want. Has a heaven and hell. Has forgiveness and love for his brothers. It is the fallen one, who is also in all of our teachings that provides the division and hate between men. And all of us know there is a heaven and hell. We may all call it by different words or the stories may be different in a few ways, but the MESSAGE is there. And it's real. Regardless if you a Jew, a Muslim, a Catholic, (even though I believe they are child molester) a Buddhist, or whatever, the message is the same. The stories of the great flood and the Resurrection resound throughout all the greatest religions in on way or another. Which leads me to KNOW you can't disprove said facts, and that one way or another WE ARE BOTH WRONG ON SOME LEVEL,...but being wrong here is not what I am trying to be. Neither am I trying to be right. I'm trying to love everyone as I have been commanded by MY God. Nothing else.

Game wardens have never treated me like that. They have always been polite and rather helpful. I would bet that someone in the production crew did something to make you a target. Also, the state of Texas had a bad experience with a hunting show back in the late 80’s. They actually set up a shanty town in prime deer hunting land to film dove hunting. Had to have rooms for everyone, a kitchen and eating area, all kinds of different stuff. They did tons of damage, left trash everywhere and treated game wardens and cops like crap. Since then, the state hasn’t been near as welcoming of people shooting for tv shows. No offense, but I don’t blame them. Our public hunting lands are for people to hunt on, not for you to make a profit from. If you want to make a profit, then hunt private land, and leave the public land for those who can’t afford to rent hunting property.
Who pays for public land?, maybe the public should have more input on the use.
@@alexscottsmith Yes, the public, not a production company. And to me a multi-million dollar production company can afford to rent private land so that they don’t interfere with the public’s access to public land.

That hunting experience is how I feel being in the navy. Hahaha

Some game wardens are washed out ex military or washed out street cops who couldn't cut the mustard due to issues they have. They get bumped down to game warden or a school resource officer. A good example would be the Broward County deputy who stood out side the Parkland school building instead of engaging the shooter. I once had a city officer show up to my house in the country after getting dispatched due to a false alarm on my home security system. He told me he was going to write me a citation for not having a city alarm permit. He looked baffled when I told him was standing in the county and disputed my claim. Once I set him straight he literally asked for directions back to the main road which left me shaking my head and concerned that he should know how the heck he got here.

I got curious and watched my 1st episode of Duck Dynasty. Yeesh. I dislike reality tv. Glad I had no idea and found the podcast anyways. 🙏🏻🤪❤️
I know a lot of people that have been duck hunting for over 20 years and every single one of them hates these guys with a passion. Their show caused the number of duck hunters to multiply numerous times and destroyed public land duck hunting. Before their show, duck hunting wasn’t that popular and it was easy to find a spot. Now, simply because these guys had to get rich and famous, the sport is being destroyed. They know how much damage they have caused and that is why they have to thump the Bible as much as they do. It’s simply a diversion to them.

I’m currently reading The coddling of the American mind & I highly recommend it. It touches on some of these themes in humanity & our culture in particular. It’s a secular book rooted in psychology, sociology etc.. talks about the censorship on college campuses, the political correctness being pushed & result of over sensitivity.. the disservice we’re doing to our kids by protecting them from ideas/values/perspectives that differ from theirs & changing language as to make them feel “safer.” But really it’s making them more fragile & ill equipped to live in the real world. The us versus them divisiveness that’s being cultivated in education systems (& perpetuated in social media) w/cancel culture etc is taking this next generation into a bad mental place. I really don’t wanna send my kid to college if he’s gonna have to walk on egg shells or on the flip, be made to feel like he’s fragile & needs to be protected from challenging ideas. There’s a quote that says, “the same wind that extinguishes a candle energizes a fire.. we want our kids to be the fire & wish for the wind.”

That duck hunt in Texas was Hilarious!!! 😂😅 But also embarrassing!! The Texas Game wardens I know all have plenty of other regarding different game/limits, the usual things but apparently the whole State needs some Remedial Duck Training!! Lol!!! God Bless them all! ♥️🙏💯✝
A lot of people complain about these guys to the game wardens, and they in turn harass them until they leave. Ever had a bunch of tv show people blocking the road to your private property because they don’t want anyone else hunting within miles of these guys? If you hunt local to where they are hunting, expect the be hassled and blocked from hunting your own property. Game wardens were hassling them because they pissed off all the locals. Not the Robertsons themselves, but the people who follow them around for the recording. I’ve heard stories from a couple of game wardens that I know...
We live in Texas and will have to say our first duck hunt was absolutely ruined by a Texas game warden. But it started when a random guy called him in on my us because he didn’t know youth season started one week earlier than regular season. So long story short I feel your pain on the Texas game wardens. 😄

When I was in high school I wore black nail polish. I was in the youth council at church. My mother made me take off the nail polish before going to church. I had been saved since Easter of 8th grade. I just liked black nail polish. I would always ask my mother why I had to change the way I looked to go to church? God knew I wore black nail polish. I told her I was not comfortable with changing who I am just because I was going to church. I was a good kid, so what difference did black nails make?
Some people have strange ideas about church. My dad didn't like it one time when I referenced a song by Bachman Turner Overdrive in a conversation because it was secular music. It was really weird because he was a music guy with a massive collection of both secular and Christian music. I don't really understand, but I think his heart was in the right place. I understand not wanting to bring inappropriate or worldy things into the church atmosphere, but I think our situations were just quarks in our parents where they went a bit far.

I remember when some family did pulled a prank on another family member and I don't know if anybody remembers these but they're used to be and yet I think you can still get them mosquito catchers that run on propane well the mosquitoes don't all die immediately and one family member emptied one of those out in another family members truck needless to say for the next 3 days they were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes LOL

That's what this YT "likes" and subscriptions is all about. If you've noticed the "dislike" button for comment,s hasn't worked in over 6 years. And I'm like, can't I like something without pressing a button? Can you imagine the utter lag that would occur if I pressed the "like" and "subscribe" button on everything I saw! The platform was just not meant for that much traffic, considering the part of YT that keeps track of new posts on each subscription, can you image it having to reach out to 350 million American's, not counting the billions outside of the U.S. The whole system would crumble. It wasn't built for that kind of traffic.

My experience with federal government employees, and game wardens is that they all, every last one of them all lack common sense, my dad told me son, that's how they get their jobs!🤣
