Al gets inspiration for a future sermon on "The Devil Drive-By," Phil vows he'll NEVER give up his guns, and Jase wants to talk to the assailant. I am listening in my shop as I work and Phil starts to pray and the presence of the almighty is so thick it’s tangible. I never comment on anything but I felt the Lord compelling me to do so. Phil’s is a man of god. It takes a lot to pray for a person after he is harming your family and friends. That’s a man right there.
Deez Nuts in your mind picture your family. If someone was shooting at your family and threatening the very reason you live, wouldn’t you feel emotion? Angry, worried, concerned, and yes frightened? Ungodly folks may think REVENGE while this family thinks Protect and Pray. To not take matters into their own hands and stop to pray for that person to come to Jesus is the epitome of noble. Having or showing high moral principles and ideals is the definition of noble. These men are a great example of that. I pray you have a blessed day.

I agree. My dad was born and raised in Mexico to an American family but he knows how dangerous it is there. He wouldn't let me and friends go there ever alone. Especially during an election year. We were in town one time when an election was going on and it slipped his mind. He saw the crowds gathering and immediately told my mom, "Get the girls in the car now. We have to go because bullets are going to start flying and riots will be starting as well." I was about 8yo at the time and I remember that like it was yesterday. It was frightening. This was a small town too so imagine what it would have been like being in a big city like Monterrey or Mexico City. I totally understand how she feels.

Si...was in Vietnam from what I gathered from their shows. My Dad is also a Vietnam Veteran....they aren't scared of anything...they are calm. If you survived that war as a young man, you can survive anything.
I love the way they've explained what happened and how they handled it and the topic of gun control. This is the most thorough and informative explanation I've ever heard from anyone whose ever spoken about it.

Thank you for sharing. I can relate to Missy. I wasn’t even allowed to have squirt guns when I was a kid and I’ve always been fearful of guns. Recently I told my husband- I need to get over my fear of guns and get trained to use a gun in order to defend our kids if you aren’t home. We went as a family to Frontsight in Pahrump, Nevada and got trained as a family and at the same time Steve Green trained us on our constitutional rights as gun owners. As a mom I highly recommend it! It helped me hear what Phil said too that there is evil in this world. We need to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Thank you all, safe in Him🙏💕
Yeah I was raised around guns and was taught how to handle them. I now own a pistol myself. However, i have friends that are not comfortable with firearms. Nowadays, it's a necessity to defend yourself nowadays, even without a firearm (pepper spray, etc.)

When you pray for someone that is messing with you. It is like heaping coals of fire on his head. He won’t sleep well for what he has done.
That’s what the Word says exactly James. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, enabled to extend grace. “Not by power, and not by might, but by my Spirit”, says the Lord.
I believe the context for heaping coals of fire on there head in the day written the people would bring coals of fire in a pot to a neighbor to warm them showing god’s kindness and grace. Not how we think of it today

From Kentucky: I grew up watching the show, I own every episode and watch them daily. To some degree I feel like I know everyone because I watch you all so much. I love you all and the whole family and I'm glad everyone is safe. Everything happens for a reason, we just have to figure out what that reason, or lesson as I often call them, is. I try to pull a lesson out of everything that happens, good or bad. This helps me with my teaching as I am a high school teacher as well. I am able to help kids understand the lesson behind some of the choices they make. Keep up the good work each of you are doing as watching and listening to you all share every day helps me through my own struggles.

I know how much Phil was enjoying listening to his three sons going down memory lane. I remember one Christmas sitting with my three sons who were in their early 20s then. I also was getting an education about my boys, but it was so much fun listening to them telling all their secrets that I had no idea about. That is a fun and lasting memory of mine.
