You, sir, were 11 when I was born. That most likely means when I was 8 you were in country while I was running around on the Drill Floor at my dad's Army Reserve unit center. (Dad was WWII Europe, 150th Infantry 1942-45).
Years later, I served on that same Drill Floor in the 321st Ordnance Battalion, DS/GS. Thanks to you and your comrades, I am now 63 and still have never been in a combat zone. Thank you and welcome home.

Wife and I decided to homeschool our kids. We need to instill our values into them while their young and addition to many of the things you said in this song. Great job guys

I'm so grateful my baby of my two daughters graduated high school this year, as i would be doing the same thing. Even the past 2 years i was skeptical of new teachers and what the board might be doing with the curriculum. She had good teachers, a few then remaining now retired were my teachers.
I wish you and any home schooling parents the very best, doing what's right for your kids education will be tremendous for them as they grow into young adults.
We have been homeschooling for years (since the "event") now.
We work year around with our kids. My oldest, 11yrs, can already code proficiently in JavaScript, LUA, and Python (we are now moving on to compiled languages [C, Java]) - he wants to obtain a degree in computer sciences/software engineering (as I did).
They are leaps and bounds ahead of their public school peers in academic performance. It is absolutely terrifying, and wholly disheartening, how far behind and indoctrinated their public school friends are now.
If you truly love your children, you would make every sacrifice necessary to ensure their protection and best and pull them from the "public school system" (e.g., indoctrination system) now - before you lose them.
It is not easy, and I know not everyone may have the ability and means, but I promise you it is well worth every challenge and sacrifice we meet along this path to ensure our children are God fearing, well educated, patriotic Americans.
I did the same for my daughter. I wish I would've woken up sooner with my son but, no regrets as I'm learning to trust the process throughout my journey. We ended up in Missouri a year after pulling my daughter out of the system, and I will forever be grateful for this move as I got to choose what I taught her without still having follow a state curriculum. Homeschooling isn't easy, but the best things never are so hang in there on the rough days!

Kids are finding out this stuff at school and social media so we need to show them the truth and that there are good people to look up to still.
