The front of the lectern had the logo of the university at which Shep was speaking. It’s been edited out, making the surface appear blank. I wonder where and how this picture was obtained?
Shep was photographed by undergrad Knowlton in the Student Center at the University of New Haven (West Haven, CT) in Fall 1970 or Spring of 1971. The original clearly shows the college seal on the lecturn. I think it’s shown in the 1971 yearbook. I’m not accusing you of blanking it, - I’m merely pointing it out.

What was the location? I’m not sure who or why it was edited out. If I find out I will followup. Thank you for pointing it out.
