  • We start baling hay for the 2019 hay season... so much for problems coming in threes. We pull out the John Deere 6120R for the first time this year. What could possibly go wrong now?
Every day is a new learning experience for our family. Join us as we carry on Scott's legacy in our North Texas hay fields. We love and miss you, Captain Skittles!

    Quite an operation Y’all have...
Many Moons Ago our 2 Baler Mechanics would return to the Ford Tractor Dealership
On Friday to get paid and restock parts for there service trucks. Then off they went for 8 months
In Eastern Washington State. They Generally took winters off to Spend their Bounty.
These guys were hard core. Always busy and made a lot of money fixing Balers and Tractors.
    Best wishes
Haywood412. P.S. To Clarify, “That was before my time at the dealer”. Just a little history passed down.

Love your videos!! I started watching last year and after watching those in-line balers work, I have decided that my next baler will be the Massey in-line baler.

Awesome! We had hiccups with it initially because it was so much more simple than the last baler I worked on with my dad. I over complicated it! The baler is the bomb!
And to add, our issues were more... User error, hah!

Thanks for sharing what farm life is all about. I grew up on a farm and have owned my own farms for the last twenty years. It's hard work and when people put that food in their mouth very few of them ever think to thank a farmer.

Sorry to hear about Scott. I lost my dad when I was 14 & my brother was 9. My mother was a school teacher & wasn't really involved with the farm. We rented out the farm & bought a 200 acre grass/crop ground place closer to her family. Needless to say it was a learning experience. With the help of neighbors & friends we made it thru. Hang in there. You'll make it. I have always enjoyed haying & enjoy your channel.
