I was thinking on buying it while ago just found it on amazon for $27.99 great deal. I forgot all about this game.
This was great. I might buy nelke and the legendary alchemists for the nintendo switch when it's on sale, but i also heard some mixed reviews on it and while i also like the op animation movie and design for nelke, i really don't like town building games at all. I'm thinking about buying the other atelier games for the nintendo switch too.
I just bought the game now on Steam. They have a Flash sale on it for only today for 70% off so I took the chance. I heard some mixed reviews about the game but I still really want to play it regardless of how the game is played different from the other Atelier games.
what do you think about the game?? Does it play like a mobile game? Or is it still fun even if there's no exploration? Also, is the town management/Building fun? Thanks!
So when i tried it for an hour at a press event about a month ago i was on the fence about it due to such limited time, now after really sinking my claws into it i can honestly say its really really fun. So much so that i often find myself loosing track of time. It starts off very simple but as you get more characters and buildings you really have to think about what to make, who does what and what you need the most ect.
There are a few problems though such as cutscenes not even being translated (I had 1 cutscene that still showed kanji and not english) theres a few cutscenes that play the wrong conversations, and finally the ingame tutorials really are not very good at all.
All in all though i can honestly say i would be happy to buy this just like any other atelier game, it is absolutely worth the money just for the amount of time you can play for.
@@Primalliquid92 thank u soooooo much for taking the time to answer me! I'll definitely keep my pre order.
No problem, hope you enjoy the game :)
holy shit this game is fking expensive :O
well worth it though, ive already sunk more than 100 hours into this game and still going.
