Great review. I was going to get the 315mm one but they are way to heavy. I ended up with a 216mm 54v cordless Dewalt, so compact and light. I already own the 305mm corded Dewalt.
I’ve just bought a Bosch. Same as you. Works perfect but rather big and noisy. I should have bought something smaller and quieter! However this one will see me out! I don’t see a circular saw. Rather than spending £600 on a mitre saw I would have thought you’d be better with a table saw and a good mitre fence. I think mitre saws are more for site work and joinery.
That's a beast of a saw arran that's the reason I sold my sliding mitre saw as it took up too much space I'm looking at the dewalt where it can fit flush to the wall but still slide out good review buddy
I've got one. Either I'm a wuss or it's heavy as owt. I do like it though. Accurate, quiet, soft start. Got a little dewalt one for the workshop but take the metabo with me for general work
Good looking saw that. I completely understand about the size and weight lifting it about. I'm planning on building a mobile mitre station for mine, should hopefully save the back a bit!
Hmm to be honest pal... it’s not the best but for the money.. it does me fine.. I cant say it bogs down.. I have cut oak mdf ply and with a fresh blade cut fine.. just a case of slow and steady wins the race... i wouldn’t see it resawing anything tho like for veneers etc how long you had yours
sorry for the late reply ive had mine about a year bought it from a bootsale its not bad but cutting curves in hard wood oak etc nightmare iam just changing the motor to see if that helps with the power will let you know bud
Ever thought about building yourself a bigger workshop? Course, you can't always tell just from a Vid, but it does look like you've got enough room to expand both widthways and lengthways .... Thinking: timber rack down 1 side, with a MS station in the middle? Incorporate existing structure into a new one? No waste, more space... ;-)
Nice review on a nice saw. Used to use Metabo SDS drills (110v) on site a number of years ago and rated them very highly, glad to see they're still offering quality kit. Subbed and rang the bell, thanks for the vid! 👍
Good review, also I feel your pain, my workshop is 10x8 and I have to juggle room, I bought I Metabo 125mm sander and the build quality and finish it gives is excellent, where are you based mate.
Aaran. I have sold a Metabo KGS 254 i plus and i notice you use the KS120 now which i am looking at. What are your views please on it and would you recommend.
Great and honest review! Subbed. I am looking at a Metabo saw at the moment. If you have the inclination, stop by my small woodworking channel and show some support. Cheers.

Good review bud, well done bud. But for God's sake, put a drop of oil or WD40 on that noisy hinge, the creaking is well annoying :-D
