For context - I am project manager (IT) here in Canada. My take would be, if you have a well settled job in India earning 13 / 14 lpa +, don't come here.

I used to earn similar in india, and then I moved to the UK. Now I regret my decision, and I will go back to India y the end of this year
Well this is very high level. If we talk about IT, India has far better numbers of opportunities in various domains while in Canada there is but not in amounts and that too concentrated in cities which are completely unaffordable. If we talk about banks etc, remember there is a concept of waiting or appointment everywhere ( I don't mean it's wrong ). Medical is in shambles and trust me it's not getting better in near future. Tax and affordability is another hustle. Parks, clean roads are there in India as well. Air quality, well that's a question. The data is modified.
Toronto has the highest number of CFAs as of today, more than New York or any other city in the world. Add to that, the economy is facing a slowdown and people are losing jobs. Not sure if we should say that CFA L2 or L3 will help you easily get a well paying job in Canada.

I wanted to ask about Medical System in Canada? How is it compared to other developing countries? Stop telling me it's free because almost everyone is paying for it through taxes. But the question is what services am I getting back? Even a lot of people saying India is better in terms of medical services.

Personally, wouldn't have came to canada, even if my earning was as low as 35000(let alone 100000). I mean the loneliness I have witnessed in the eyes of elderly people back in india (whose children and grandchildren are permanently in abroad) cannot be described in words. Its heartbreaking.
Don't worry all these people in Canada will bring these old people to Canada and make Canadians pay for their healthcare and old age pensions. That's the Indian way.

life quality is really poor in India ..even living in 2-4 Cr flat in Mumbai or Delhi NCR people usually struggle .. i live in a flat in NCR which is very noisy ..no civic sense ..550 PPM is pollution level ..daily ki bhasad

Money may not be the only reason to come to Canada, one maybe coming here for other reasons such as pollution, open spaces, corruption at lower level, traffic, crowded streets, clean roads etc. I would say Canada is not a country if you are only coming for money, its good for other things in addition to money and career. If someone wants only money and career then US might be a better place to go.

The advantage that Canada may have after earning 100k per month is pollution and less social pressures and traffic issue assuming one is good enough to earn 4-5X times than back home. Otherwise:
Not worth unless household income is almost 10X times more than back home.
A) loss of social enjoyment, friends, family functions, religious functions and joys derived from it
B) loss of sun hours - human body is not conditioned for living in tundra region less so for brown skinned folks - it is nature
C) working hard at both work and home - constantly proving oneself to go up the chain at work and yet do chores at home and shopping on weekends esp becomes drain once person ages and kids requirements increases like classes, schools, health issues etc
D) Health services are not really up to Indian standards unless one goes private - again more expenses
E) Additional work in winter in everything and more indoor hours - again bad for human body
F) Glass ceiling at work, small level of racism and less entrepreneurial ethics compared to Bharat where more people can readily join for work to succeed
So there are both pro and cons of coming to west.

If someone is earning Rs. 100,000 p.m. in India he should understand it is like earning
CAD 2,000 -3000 in Canada which is not sufficient for life sustenance as per standard of living. Moreover, in Canada for businessmen markets appear to be very limited. I find restaurants and eateries are doing well. I may be wrong but this is what I gave observed in my short visit.
I personally think that it's not always about money some people come to canada because of the mentality of Indian society such as judging others keeping an eye on what others are doing moreover many youngsters come here for freedom their parents are too strict no matter how much money they make.

Finance is NOT a demanded work profile in Canada.
Indians generally have trouble imagining jobs in industries other than IT, accounting, medical, engineering. I found so much less competition and lots of growth opportunities in other fields. Trades pay very well but most Indians consider this work beneath them. Personally, I did very well working in the natural resource sector and now earn $150k + annually with amazing benefits and work culture in a unionized position. No regrets.

Hi Gursahib i almost agree qith all your points but i want to highlight one thing bfrom my experience..i don't understand why people ( i have heard this in lot of vedio in infacts )say that 1lakh per month in India is a good salary...if someone has to pay rent, grocery, petrol, some sort of savings/ funds, loans , schools fees, etc etc and some do have credit card bills, plus some miscellaneous expenses, shopping etc..after all this nothing is left in the pocket actually. personally i don't agree this amount is good enough in India.
100 000 rupes per month is only 2k which is not the same as 100k salary per year here. 2k per month is very low income...to be earning 100k a year you are netting about 5 k a month so about 250 000 rupees per month.

If you have a good job /skill in India, then my suggestion is not to go to canada. The opportunities in India are far better than canada. The only issue is pollution in big cities. As far as infrastructure is concerned, it is improving in India.
I live in a gated society, and facilities here are far better than Canada can offer. Plus, I can afford a maid to do all the household chores.

Please cover what % of r**e cases are false in Canada as this is a good reason for men to move out as it's being a big issue here even if the man was never involved with a woman and had never even met her. My uncle in Canada said women are doing the same over there but we need to know what % of cases are false there? As here 51-53% of cases are false as per stats and many men have to take extreme steps which can't be undone. Although I feel career might be better for me in India, this in itself is enough of a reason for me to consider moving abroad.

@@aaykay4060 Well he has been living in Canada for 3 decades now. I confirmed with my cousin as well there. On Quora, I read that it does happen and ends up costing $ 40-50k USD. For some western country stats were around 5% for it compared to 51-53% for India so it’s much better but we need the data for Canada.

I am too working in Ministry, In government of India and earning more than 1 lakh pm, I am too confused. My current job is desk job, bored want to struggle, learn, earn fucking high.
You will regret later if you leave that job and migrate to Canada. I think one should not leave without having job on abroad land otherwise you will suffer. You can do experiment with yourself, invest some money on abroad travel spend some time and then decide.
