Another thing regarding Burst points; I've heard someone say that you can react to Burst with Handshake Tag, so if your opponent is super sweaty you might not want to burst when they've got an assist out.
Your vids have been super helpful to me ever since I got my start in the fgc at sf6 release. Been playing 2XKO a ton and I love the content you’ve made on it helping me learn more. I appreciate you a lot! You’re a joy in the community for me.
Thanks for the tips. Mindset is the biggest one that I think people need to know. If they're coming for league its the same mindset in getting in to that game
#1 already gave me so much confidence. I was feeling bad about not using all of Ekko's tools, but projectile spam has been working out so well for me. Whenever I deviate and try to do fancy stuff, I end up losing
i have REALLY been struggling with understanding game plans and neutral and this guide is a godsend! It would be awesome if you did some character specific stuff youve learned too in separate videos (like pressure set ups)
Thanks for taking the time to make this vid, Diaphone. Incredibly useful info to those of us new or intermediate to tag fighters. What about that technique people use where they have like a grounded-blue burst around them?
I do not have the brain training to keep an eye on whats actually happening, and the coordination of button combos seems nearly impossible, but Ive still had a blast, as a League player and a hero shooter player this is a completely new ball park, excited to learn more!
Mindset is the BEST tip. If you get good and win you improve the experience for everyone…. If you lose and ask for nerfs you hurt the experience for everyone. Nerf culture will end.
I found defense, or I guess taking my turn, really difficult in this game, coming from SF6, Strive and Tekken. So I understand I can press my fastest frame normal that will reach, to take my turn back in SF after my opponent is negative, usually 2P in Strive, stand jab or punish if they are -10 in Tekken. In this game, I felt like after a string on block I'd still get hit attempting to put in a light attack and on wake up it feels like I can't push buttons at all, then when I try on their wake up to meaty I get hit. Now I will accept that I don't know the frame data to try meaties or wake up button so I'm probably missing something or mistiming. In the end I just dashed to stay out of range and punish.
There's long recovery on pretty much everyone. And you can airblock Just block until opponent is done using their assist pressure then look to challenge or jump out. They'll have to take risks to do pressure resets without the assists insurance
It feels faster and gameplay feels really aggressive. Also depending on the character, combos are either really short or a cinematic. But hits feel very rewarding just like BBtag
I win most of my matches with the Pulse fuse. It's so broken. No need to learn combos when you can just mash a button and delete 50% of your opponent health bar 🤣 And with every hit that can confirm into a full combo , this is wild.
My man out here doing an 11-step combo including a jump cancel and saying "that's it" as if beginner fighting game players are gonna manage anything past 3 or 4 😮💨
@@AL-hc9wk yikers. As someone who labs religiously, that is an absolutely delusional thing to say. If you want the game to be successful it needs to be gatekept as little as possible.
@DariusRivers not gatekeeping, just think you're being delusional and patronizing to the average person. You think there's something challenging about pressing 10 buttons in sequence for about 10 minutes until any reptile brain can memorize it?
You should let people know what the commands are for some of these mechanics. I have no idea what buttons are push block and watching the inputs isn't completely helpful.
It's forward + dash while in blockstun. Watching the inputs literally tells you what the command is. In the push block examples he literally doesn't press any other buttons aside from the one that gives you push block. Look at the screen...

Okay I’m glad that people are eager to help but holy fuck man, why do people make tutorials for games that have only been out for 4 to 3 days? This is something every content creator does when realistically we both know that you yourself don’t even know enough to be teaching information to people. And when I say that I don’t mean that some of the general fighting game advice in here isn’t good, but anything specific in here has a chance to become outdated within days given the game’s novelty

I wish most of the characters didn't look factory-made. They're generic, boring, standard. Any character designer who makes a cat/fox girl who just looks like a cosplayer should look for another career. I won't spend days getting these mechanics right unless I like two of the characters.
@@toluaiyenigba7320 I was the same. Playing it definitely helps with the fun factor but it's a question of how long because the neutral game is not really great rn with heavy spammers at the moment

Got any tip on the layout on a fightstick? I can't find anything that works well..or do you just use control settings arcade stick b. Plz plz help..
Any tips for using tags in duos? It feels like most of the time I just mess up my partner's gameplan.
You forgot option 3 for ekko's projectile. Use Illaoi rekka to destroy it

This is useful...IF I HAVE A CODE.
Sonic Fox… how is he here too
Braum with the same Gief energy, slow, not great combos, but hits hards
