  • 🌼🍂 Be excessively gentle with yourself 🍂🌼
I often need to hear the wisdom of this excerpt from the wonderful words of John O’Donohue and thought I would create something to share this with anyone else who could do with a prompt to do the same.
    Video description:
Different clips of nature with the words of the poem being read transcribed.
    1. Clip of close up on Mossy forest floor, with fern leaf hanging over. The camera pans to the left along the mossy floor. The text reads: You have traveled too fast over false ground; Now your soul has come to take you back.
    2. Clip of small bird sitting on a thin branch. The wind ruffles the birds feathers and it looks around. The text reads: Take refuge in your senses, open up, To all the small miracles you rushed through.
    3. Clip of rain falling on a pink flower with green leaves, the rain drops are large and the flower is moving and bouncing from them hitting it. The text reads: Become inclined to watch the way of rain, When it falls slow and free.
    4. Clip of timelapse of twilight sky, with pink, orange, purple and blue clouds and sky moving across. The text reads: Imitate the habit of twilight, Taking time to open the well of colour, That fostered the brightness of day.
    5. Clip of a large stone with yellow lichen on it. The stone is still and behind it there are tall yellow plants blowing in the breeze. The text reads: Draw alongside the silence of stone, Until its calmness can claim you.
    6. Clip of tall daisies blowing in the wind. The text reads: Be excessively gentle with yourself.
    7. Clip of a close up shot of a large tree trunk in a woodland, the camera pans downwards. The text reads: Excerpt from the blessing, ‘For One Who is Exhausted’, By John O’Donohue.
