Hahaaa you can imagine how many we started with if I still have a drawer full. Yet gave them away set them down friends had to have them. Now it's time to update and make them for my tiny human.. granddaughters. Y'ALL HAVE A BLESSED DAY 💞

    Thank you, Erica. I love hand sewing when I can, so this was the perfect project. I already made two today. I think these would make great gifts for the samaritans purse operation Christmas child boxes.

    I just wanted to say... This is the first time I have run across one of your videos, and I really enjoyed it! Not only that I learned how to make a scrunchie, but you are quite engaging and you deliver the information clearly. I've watched a couple of other video tutorials on doing this, and they just didn't deliver the information smoothly or in a way that was clear and engaging like you do. You now have a new subscriber and I look forward to watching more of your video's!

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, you sew over the elastic on that last seam that you tuck under so you don't have any raw edges.

      @erica_arndt  5 років тому +1

      Hi Teri, I apologize for any inconvenience, hopefully you sent an email as well! I don't get to these comments as often as I'd like! To get your downloads you can log in to your account in my store then click 'my account' and then 'view' on your order. There you should see a download link. If it's gone, they might have expired, so just send me an email and I can reactivate it for you :)

    Did you use a stretch stitch for sewing long ways?

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  5 років тому +1

      Since my elastic was super thin I just did a straight stitch on it, but you could use a zig-zag stitch if you have thicker elastic.

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  5 років тому +1

      You can also just tie the elastic in a knot too :) works just as good!

    does it have to be stretchy fabric?

    • @erica_arndt
      @erica_arndt  4 роки тому

      No, we also used quilting cotton which isn't stretchy, but the stretchy fabric works better in my opinion.

      A Jelly Roll is 2.5" wide and these are 3.5" wide. I feel like a 2.5" strip would make a very skinny scrunchy but you can definitely try it!
