Finally did this after getting the parts. By myself it was brutal 4 hrs. Your video was the key. By far the hardest part was getting all the clips undone and knowing the correct way to do it.

Test drove a Tundra 1794 TRD Pro yesterday, black, but man…the chrome killed me. I’m with you…I want it ALL blacked out, even if the truck itself is white. Handles, grill, wheels, ALL of it. Subbed, because I have a feeling I’ll be doing this in a few months 😆
Same here, I am looking for a way to swap the chrome, but it’s too expensive. Maybe I’ll just take them out and paint them when I am ready to install CBI bumper and the winch.

Great video! Thank you for posting. I like the platinum grill but I’m getting a 1794 with the bright chrome that I think is a little flashy. So a TRD swap would be good.
Great video. I've got the grill out and only hangup right now is the sensor cover. I need a magnifying glass to see how those small clips work. Still haven't figured it out.

Very nice. Get the 3 yellow lights and the light bar installed once they're available, and they'll not only look much more cooler but give you more light in dark conditions driving.

Plastidip looks pretty good actually, OEM matte black trim pieces are insane for the front - hows the plastidip holding up and any recommendations?

Moving the front camera I'm sure changes the angle for the "birds eye" view on the screen. Did you notice any problems with the new camera placement?

Did I miss your description and or link to the plasti dip for the mustache parts? Is that something you sprayed on? Is that fairly easy to apply evenly? How long do you expect it to last? Any chance you could explain the process to paint them?

I just did the exact opposite I went from TRD Pro Grill to the Platinum Grill unfortunately cannot find camera bracket For the Platinum Grill any chance you still have that one you pulled off and are willing to sell it ???
I like the look of the heritage grill. If you replace grill, would it be better to wait for bar lights? do you have to remove the grill again to install bar lights once they become available?

you dont have to unbolt those brackets in the middle of the grille. the whole thing has clips that pop out from the center brackets.
does anyone know how to disconnect the premium block heater connection ? I can't remove the grille without doing that

After swapping to the TRD Pro grille on my 2023 Tundra Platinum and using a front camera bracket, the front facing camera image is crooked as viewed by the 14” screen in the cab. Anyone else have this issue and know how to address it? Is a camera calibration possible?

that 3d printed piece didn't end up working for me as it would make the camera sit at an angle.... so i had to make quite a lot of modifications to it

no. You missed plugging in some sensor that you unplugged somewhere.

I was told that the grill replacements have to be recalibrated because of the sensors. Any trouble after replacing?

I just did my swap and my radar isn't working. Check engine light came on fot electronic transmission and other stuff but un hooked battery and is gone but radar still need help
