Never heard of interdental brushes (dentist always recommends flossing) and surprised you recommend 1x/yr visits instead of every 6 months

It absolutely depends on your oral hygiene! If you have no problems, no tartar, no gingivitis, no periodontitis, cavities and so on, every 12 month is absolutely fine! I don't like to over therapy if not needed! But if needed some patients come in for a treatment every 3 months, so it needs to be very individual and professional. Flossing isn't wrong at all, but with interdental brushes you reach and clean much more plaque away! As we all experience, the daily dental routine needs to be fast, easy and effective! Interdental brushes are way easier to use! And my main goal is it to make it easy on my patients! hope that helps! xoxo Nora

Doctor, lam doing ortho now. 4 premolars has been extracted for the treatment.. during last sitting, orthodontist told me to visit dentist for filling my second premolar.. dentist told the cavity is too deep even though lam not feeling any pain.. he suggested to do RCT on that teeth and to continue ortho and once ortho gets completed, crown can be installed.. but doctor lam so worried about that does a RCT teeth is strong enough to withstand the brace force?? does it get break during brace adjustment?? is it better to remove the bracket and do RCT with crown and then proceed ortho ??

BelieverinChrist hi there! I have patients who use it on a daily base and the love it! But to be honest I have not found a study that proofed it works! The Yogi in me hope that we‘ll find a proof soon. However it doesn’t hurt your teeth nor your gums, so if you love it just keep on using it! Do you use it on a daily base? What’s your experiences? I would love to hear more about it! Xoxo Nora

Thanks so much for leaving a comment! Did you keep an eye on what you eat? Sometimes sugar is hiding in stuff you wouldn't imagine! Do you take any fluoride?

Of course, like in every other business, we have different views how the perfect daily routine should look like!
After 16 years as a dental hygienist I understood that it has to be easy and effective! Flossing isn't easy and not as effective than interdental brushes! But of course not wrong to use! Just stay persistent with the 4 steps I suggest and it will be enough! Hope that helps! take care xoxo Nora

hamsika sai rezina catrina hi there! I’m not sure if I get it right! But I try to answer based on what I think you ask for! A well done filling needs to last at least a couple years! If you don’t clean them well you can get a secondary cavities under your filling and it needs to be replaced. Maybe your brother chwed on something hard and it fell out unfortunately! Normally you don’t need to redo your fillings if they are made well and if you clean the right way! You can download my cheat sheet and follow all the steps for the perfect daily dental routine! I hope this helps. If not just get back to me with any questions! Happy day and all the best to you xoxo Nora
