    I'm watching this before going to the dentist, to get my cavities removed. I really didn't took good care of teeth for a while, because I was so tired, that I fell asleep a lot without brushing my teeth before. I also drink a lot of coffee (at least 2 cups per day). I also haven't been eating healthy lately, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised about this. I didn't felt any pain in my teeth though. I discovered that I have cavities, because I noticed a small brown spot on one of my tooth, that I couldn't brush away, so I started to Google what this could be.

      Where do we go sir dental students 😅 we're not even given equal respect inspite of studying anatomy (H&N), physio , biochem , micro , path , pharmac , gen surgery and medicine . Apart from this our dental subjects have quotas we have to finish unlike MBBS our practicals are hectic sir imagine pt opens his mouth no more than 2 fingers width the visualisation is so difficult ! And 8 subjects with 8 different practicals with quotas we actually work really hard and nor people not other doctors give equal respect and good pay for what we study 😭

    I was actually searching for a cartoon that could teach my 2 year old why it's important to let me brush his teeth. I don't think this is exactly right for him 😅, but I ended up learning a great deal! I never knew how important it was to maintain the right ph level in your mouth. So, does a diet high in spicy foods also put you at risk?

    Why would not they make from ready CNC machines caries cavity and even CT-scan based prostethic treatment apparati? I think, that it would be very fast, accurate, high quality and affordable. Correct anesthesia with lidocaine or something else like xylocaine (joke apparently) would also maybe be less complicative in frequency rate. Scan with fluorescent dyes and autoscan would be quite simple. So, good teeth for all.
    Is these already for sale somewhere, and by whom?

    @noorqadri3507 4 роки тому +2

    okay, so one way to prevent decay is to not create an environment where harmful bacteria can thrive. But how can one promote good bacteria growth and possibly reverse the effects of light decay?

    • @kyrasheron2169
      @kyrasheron2169 4 роки тому +1

      Light decay can be reversed by the calcium phosphate from saliva or by flouride application and by keeping the oral environment clean and above a pH of 5.5. However, this only works if the cavity is confined to the enamel. Once it enters the dentin, it accelerates at a much faster rate and regular flouride can no longer stop its advancement. At that point, a filling/root canal will be necessary(depending on the progression. If there is pain present, it probably means you will need a root canal as it has likely entered the pulp.) There is a new type of Flouride called Silver Diamide Flouride which, when applied, can stop the cavity completely. It does cause a large black stain on the area of decay as a side effect of the silver. That being said, it is an affordable option for those who do not want to get a filling. It is especially useful on childrens teeth, because it's easier and cheaper than filling the tooth that will probably be lost soon anyway!

      Bro I had a sensitive tooth in April 2020 and guess what it was? A decay that reached the nerve or the beginning of t he tooth. It hurt when I drank water and stuff. It was basically so rotten the doctor didn't even use the drill, only a sharp metal he used to get 1:4 of the inside of my teeth out. It was soft like bread. Then he drilled a bit and filled it up. Worst part is that I brushed my teeth like for 1 month after that, then just forgot. Now I have 2 more teeth that start to turn black but this time I won't wait. I brush my teeth 2 times a day and I quit sugar (hardest part) and need to visit the dentist for the last time cause I'm taking care of my teeth from now.

    why would our teeth even have nerves in the first place if theyre natural process is just to decay and fall out anyways? thousands of years ago humans didnt brush there teeth, it has only recently become the norm to brush and try to preserve our teeth, it just seems like a bit of a design flaw for humans, yes our saliva breaks down food stuck in our teeth but brushing our teeth isnt a natural occuring thing, its something we do and have only done for about 400 years or so.. doesnt anyone else find this odd?

    • @JaneXemylixa

      If you live off of coarse roots and fibers and never eat processed sugar, you _could_ try not brushing your teeth, of course...
      But as a person with 3 filled root canals and 1 extracted wisdom tooth - yeah, nerves right inside teeth are probably overkill xD

      I would suggest you see your dentist. There is a possibility of an underlying condition.

    when i had to pay for my one tooth, i stopped snacking after that bitch i swear haha, not worth. snacking a few times a day fucks up the ph balance and it takes a while to get it back to a safe level, also don't use water to rinse out your mouth after brushing teeth, that will also fuck up the flouride, just spit it out and floss. i brush and floss religiously everyday but i still got one, i dont even drink soda so i think the big part of it was snacking a few times a day

    Many thanks, I've been looking for "can tooth decay fixed" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Nelevi Gapify Elimination - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got great results with it.
