From my experience from sewing, I take my exact measurements on the dress but after sewing it’s always hard to wear it and it get really tight and sometimes the seams at the back starts to tear please what could I be doing wrong?

Hi this is coming 8 months after your comment but a great tip is put your index finger under your tape when taking horizontal measurements. Also always add darts is the fabric isn't stretchy.
