Way back when! I had acquired a F4 with turbo fan which I thought was pretty fast. Between my flying skills and the speed of the jet I managed to plow more ground than a Kansas wheat farmer! It had been built and rebuilt, patched, taped and glued together so many times, that I think my best flight was when it went out of sight never to be seen again by me. After that I got into rc boats, tug boats mostly. They were slow and forgiving, if you wrecked, no damage! Battery died or ran out of steam, the worse that would happened you got wet or for a chance to try it one of the kids watching would retrieve it like a downed duck. Man, that's some insane flying and speed! If it ever hit someone, I don't want to imagine! I've watched this several times and I'm also impressed with the mobile launch system! Either by design or accident the squeaking treads is about as real as it gets! Ever time I watch, there's something else I want to comment on.
That was some amazing piloting! The fact that that plane can pull off those maneuvers without falling apart amazes me. I bet if a person were subjected to those relative conditions they would have to be scraped out of their seat.
Been the problem for fighter aircraft designers for decades....keeping the pilot alive after his inputs to the controls. LOL Now, computers keep the pilot alive: "Nah, you don't want to do that much elevator, Maverick."
The "rockets" are just fireworks, they dont have any Thrust, the Turbine has more Power than the plane weights and the plane gets shot away with a rubber band for the acceleration

I was in a mechanic in an Army tank battalion for 13 years. Just thinking there would’ve been several times having an A-10 on a mobile platform like that would’ve been super helpful. Instant air cover!! 🤣
