I think it's funny how Jeremy was trying to say that M3gan being strung up like that was some kind of Jesus symbolism, when, to me, she quite clearly is supposed to resemble a marionette.
That, ans the fact that it's the easiest way to have full access to the different parts of m3gan to do repairs or modifications

"Is there a way to feel 99% guilt?" Yes, Jeremy. That's why it's called an emotional SPECTRUM. There are many ways to feel many things, at many levels. Guilt is just like every other emotion in that way.

I think smooth brain Jeremy was referring to be able quantify exactly how you feel in percentages not that there aren’t many ways to experience emotion.

As someone who lives in Indiana, I must thank you for not sinning Jeremy saying triple homicide in sin 82 when Megan had only killed two people at that point. Here in Indiana, we treat killing a dog the same as killing a human, so while it wouldn't be the case where the movie is set, here in Indiana it would indeed be triple homicide :D

M3GAN was such a good movie, especially for a horror movie in January. I've heard talks of a sequel in development, but I'm not gonna get too excited since horror movie sequels have mixed track records. For every Alien and Aliens, there's a Jaws and Jaws 2.

True, but M3GAN's narrow interpretation leads her to feel her inflicting pain on others is sanctioned. She "protected" Cady by killing the K4R3N and in the climax thinks that lobotomizing a person isn't a violation of the "no inflicting pain, no killing" rule. The problem is that making a robot defend others against pain could result in pain. Telling a robot simply to not hurt humans is less likely to result in loopholes.
I’m so happy you did this one I actually love this movie and while it isn’t perfect I was pleasantly surprised for a pg-13 horror movie

with the emotional scene:
It's a thing in AI where a system identifies all seeing elements and signals' it's comfidence in each element so it could also easily mean that the AI is 99-100% confident that the emotion shown is guilt. but since humans have huge overlaps in emotions it would be logic that mutiple emotions have a high confidence levels. That would be a propper watsonian explaination. but honestly the scene is just to show that the AI knowns facial reconision.
M3gan is one of the first horror movies I’ve watched and I loved it, thank you for your content and talking about what Jeremy gets wrong
"How can M3GAN control the car?" This is literally doable NOW with a laptop right now over wifi/cell/bluetooth, and has been for a few years now. Since she is able to hack into the building security why would it be far fetched that she can do that with a car? That maca has bluetooth at MINIMUM and don't tell me that an advanced robot won't have a bt radio... My damn 2011 Nissan does...

As a Christian, your comment about the invalidity of the cross is very awesome! Its something I've known for years, but no one else acknowledges because they simply can't put up with the fact they may just have a few things wrong about their history...
The actress who plays cady looks and sounds like just like her sister (girl from black phone). Especially when she is throwing a tantrum in the middle. They are great actresses
About the cross thing: Yeah, crucifixion does predate the death of Jesus, but the ankh is a much, much older symbol and has nothing to do with Christianity on its own at first. It would make sense for Christians to coopt the cross given the religion has foundations in persecution so taking the bad thing and using it is as a good symbol is just what they'd do. It's a distinct, easy to make symbol. They didn't borrow the ankh, but when Christianity came to Egypt and formed Coptic Christianity (approximately 42 AD) the ankh and the cross became the same symbol because both had at that point well entrenched meanings about life everlasting. It's called syncretism and it happens all the time either deliberately or naturally. It's why the Roman gods are basically copied Greek homework.
The Christians didn't steal the ankh to use as their own symbol. When fundamental story is about how your founder and messiah gets nailed to a cross, you might adopt that symbol as its a core component of your faith.
5:00 The real sin is having the kids stand so close together while testing those toys out, as well as having them surrounded by furniture and other things that can get knocked over or broken. They have no room to swing those racquets around without breaking something, hitting someone, or dropping the ball.
The only real sin that M3GAN committed was not paying for the rights to Toy Soldier and changing the song M3GAN was playing on the piano to something royalty free in the released film.

You're talking to your friend while waiting for the movie to start. The lights go down while you are mid sentence. The movie cold opens, and you have to quickly shut up and end without finishing that sentence. Niw you and your friend have an unfinished convo in the back of your mind that distracts from the movie or you finish and miss the initial setup while annoying other moviegoers.

I will have to find you a link to the Video - But Martin Lewis, a UK Money Saving Expert took 30 children who were all apparently obsessed with Tech according to their parents and sent them into a room where there were presents, He told them before hand that all the Presents were Empty but they could go in and do whatever they wanted... And they did, They had a great time using their imaginations, He then gave them a choice of proper old Analogue Toys or Tablets, And out of 30 Children... ONLY ONE picked up a Tablet!!!
Facts are facts, Children dont want Tech... We want them to have Tech as it makes our lives easier!!! Christ, I am a Grandfather now and while my Granddaughters do love sitting on UA-cam... They prefer it when I come around at a weekend and join them making stuff with Play-Doh!
