GUYS! Queen prided themselves on being a “live band”. As with so many Queen songs, you’re REALLY MISSING OUT when you just stick with the studio track instead of reacting to a LIVE performance… You really NEED to see this song performed at: WEMBLEY STADIUM in 1986… It’s so much MORE DYNAMIC!
Brian wrote this song while he was studying for his PhD in Tennorife. He came back to the studio and had Freddie take a listen. Freddie liked the song and asked Brian about the lyrics. Brian said well, all I really have is the chorus which is "tie your mother down" and of course, we can't record that. Freddie said "Of course we can, Darling. Why not?" So the song was completed and recorded.
I loved and I had so fun with your Queen reactions, thanks dears! Tie your mother down is my favourite rock from Queen, and, no darling, isn't country music, is pure rock and roll! Please react this song at Wembley, you'll love. XX to you both!
The band from the original Roadhouse movie were The Jeff Healey Band, a blues/blues rock band. Tell Gabe to check out Jeff Healey Band version of Blue Jean Blues, a cover of the ZZ Top classic.
Queen is Top, but i seen on you're other channel that you don't know "Simply Red". please listen to some Simply Red. Holding back the years, If you don't know me by now, Something got me Started, Money's Too Tight (To Mention), enz ...

Need to react to this one "Live". Queen is best when they're performing live.
No they're not! They were an excellent studio band.
