Mikey nair is like two perpendicular project m pit upairs and we still didn't immediately recognize it as busted because we really did not understand how different it is to get hit in this game yet. What a wild video game.
ooo that brings up another good question: how do you know when to nerf? PM 3.02 Diddy players thought we was overnerfed in 3.5. G&W players thought he was overnerfed in P+, etc. you're gonna have people jumping on either side of the fence, even when nerfs are deserved, dependent on their biases. the idea of "balance" is so damn hard lol
@@arJunebugSmash how do you know to do anything, really? In a few lines, can you give me your perspective on what constitutes a "balanced" game? I feel like gamers in general can't even determine a general definition for the term (considering how relative it is that's not unexpected) however discussions on what should be buffed, what should be nerfed, and what should be left how it is can't even take place unless there's at least some understanding as to what the end goal of doing any of these things actually is 😂.
@@arJunebugSmash I feel like any player of any character, no matter how busted, is going to think their character is getting overnerfed when the nerf hammer comes down. It’s just the nature of competing.
It seems to me like the power level of this game is just ridiculously high. Like, compared to other games, Toph looks completely broken, but apparently she's low tier in this game. It's just a shame that this manifests as the top tiers having playstyles that usually revolve around using only a couple of moves for everything.
The power of NASB characters is higher than anything I've seen so far; I tweeted it was giving me PM 3.02 vibes lol Would definitely like less "everything" moves, DI buff certainly helps that along
Great video and summary of the flaws of version 1.01 of nick tbh. Though being on ledge yourself forces mikey to reel up instantly so that is another bit of counterplay for his up b.
I’ve been using Mikey without his nair, and his down air is still pretty busted to spam. You definitely have to be more creative with how you combo, and rely on techchases more. His air strongs also kinda suck in terms of kill power.
I just can't get into this game. Melee, PM, and Rivals (especially Rivals) seem so much more refined. Rivals has such an extremely unique character mechanic. NASB looks bland in comparison.

"This dude just eats pizza and wobbles you" ,it is a very mikey thing to cheese someone out
Dude, I could be gaming
NASB developers are doing it right imo. Nerf when broken but don’t overnerf.

Can't wait for the "How Powdered Toast Man's ass changed the meta" video in a few years once the meta progresses.
Oh boy, a new Junebug video!
:))))))))))
That background music just unlocked a memory
I remember people saying Mikey was "just okay" or "worse Leo" when i looked at his nair once and saw a menace

If you look at this many clips with easy stocks where the character is pretty much only using one move
That move probably needs to be looked at.
Great video! This is a great way of explaining a broken move on this game.
Yeah props to the dev team unless you're playing on Switch where it STILL HAS NOT BEEN PATCHED
Great video!
I really like that thumbnail.
nice video
He wasn't even broken in a cool/fun way. Just an obnoxiously fast, big and spamable hitbox.
I felt like this video lost focus in some places and started kinda just restating things. I did enjoy the video overall still though.
Damn driftveil city is such a banger
Crap! I'm late to the newest June vid 😔🤟🏼
never too late to party
Can you give the links for how to DI?
should be in the description now!
@@arJunebugSmash Thank you!
I'm never this early
No u ♡
congrats :)
and this isn't even covering the recovery and stalling shit Mikey could do on launch.
Who would win?
1.01 Mike or Ivan Ooze
Thats a video asking for a lot of engagement kek
hi june
Hi
When nair
meta knight's still more broken
Petition for moves to be called LNair and Snair.
I don't think bayo and metaknight were ever banned by consensus, but Mikey was

I hope you atleast mentioned the infinite stall :P
