One question I have for PM/P+: If rollback net code is developed for PM/P+, do you think it will thrust the game into the spotlight and become a welcomed game? Or stay in a controversial limbo? (Possibly bringing Nintendo's attention and causes them to take action against PM/P+)
Another question I just thought of: Do you think the reason PM/P+ is on the back burner right now, is because people are discouraged in playing competitively since melee is fundamentally similar but much more popular and successful? So they would rather just play melee.
I think rollback could make it more accessible, but events are gonna be hesitant to run it cuz Riptide.
Also yeah, if you are playing a platform fighter eSport, PM is very niche. Brawlhalla, Melee, Ultimate all fill the eSports category, while PM is grassroots. One has to really enjoy to game and community to choose it over other stuff.

i think kongo jungle was banned reactively and should maybe be given another chance, it seems so fun! all of the justifications for it's banning that ive seen are either "rock crock got camped that one time 10 years ago" which seems incredibly reactionary to me, or some vague explanation of why the stage seems campy to them. im not even remotely confident it would actually be good for competitive play, i just want to either see a breakdown on why it's bad or more evidence. that barrel should probably be removed though, maybe the semisolid stage floor too XD
am actually thinking about hosting some events with it legal as a counterpick in addition to some other silly rules :D
@@Spunney yeah, the high top plats make chasing down someone almost impossible. peach isn't even the best at doing it. a falco or falcon could camp it infinitely.
if the stage was shrunk slightly, i think i has potential to be a good stage.
