the rip softwere comes with the printer?
Does it ever have problems grabbing the transfers?
Yes, all printers do occasionally. I've made a video on how to fix that.
Nice video..Thanks for sharing this video.
Is there any need to change the printer head height to allow more space, I have seen some suggestions of having to do that but not sure if it is really needed
There is no need for that
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 Brilliant, so from the brand new out the box L1800 with Change to DTF inks and film and this conversion we are good to print DTF?
@@stephenfowler8741 Yes, you will also need rip software, powder, cleaning supplies and a heat press.
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 you are a legend, thank you. This has helped a lot
Hi again wanted to ask you also did you prime the dampers or worked directly?
Hello. It's laways better to prime.
Yea that's what I thought , may I ask what software are you using? And is there a way to download it for free?
@@tarekhaig Any rip software will work. We use acrorip. You need a phisical USB key to run it.
Thank you for an extremely informative video. Not only did i learn about ink and converting, you also gave great options for those who don't have electric tools at home.
That's very informative and helpful to me. Thanks for the information. But can you please make a video how and which software can set the white ink spraying and percentage of white ink etc..
Thanks in advance.
OK, I will.
after removing the rollers, what happened when printing small sizes?
One the rollers are removed you will never be able to print the last 3cm of the page or so. Whether it's big or small page size. You will still be able to print on any size of film/paper though.
Can you tell me what kind of white ink to use?? Coz the L1800 does not come with one can yu help me on this thanks
You need white DTF ink from www.dtf.technology/
THX for this video, helps a lot.
Is the L1800 discontinued? Looked for new cannot find.
We get brand new ones in stock every 2 weeks. Would you like us to reserve one for you when more stock arrives?
@@dtfprintingtechnology9457 Where are you finding them? I went to the EPSON site and it says they are discontinued.
@@edmesser1 There is still plenty of stock left. We get them from our EU based suppliers who we spent a lot of time and money buiolding a relationship with so you will have to do your own research I'm afraid. Having said that, they don't sell to individuals anyway.
