Definitely take at least 1 minute to thoroughly massage the salt spray into the scalp and hair strands. Use on damp but not soaking wet hair. The manufacturers put in oils and other agents to combat the drying effects. Salt spray will definitely add body.

Got my first bottle today. At first I was kinda shocked by the price but I have learned over the years that hairproducts really scale up with price. And often because it is so much better you only need to use very little. First time I bough wax from a salon I was like “damn, 20 euro for one can? but I can literally do my hair for half a year or more every day with that one can. The best thing so far about tidal wave is the smell. God it smells so nice, it is that smell that makes me fall in love with people. And the texture is so nice, not too dry but still tons of texture and pliability. So far super happy with the product.
I've been a fan of salt spray over the decades, however you nailed it! we all wanted to love previous ones and indeed convinced our clients to love it too, but I think I'm going to buy your one and try it as I need more versatility and it seems you have it in a bottle 👍👍👍👍
@@localcrisis Not perfect waves.. For those, you will have to perm your hair, but it can add texture and make it a bit curlier but don't get your hopes up.
@TheSalonGuy just ordered Tidal Wave for the first time and I am really excited to try it, but would you say it's a bad idea to brush the sea salt spray through your hair when you apply it??? I'm use to doing that with most products and things you put in your hair so you'd evenly distribute it. I want some wave to my hair and not for it to be as straight as it usually is.
Hey I have a question I have super thick coarse hair I mean really coarse and I was wondering if you know what kind of product I can use for my hair to be nice and fluffy and soft, and what kind of shampoo and conditioner plz I want my hair to be soft, And also I am getting a haircut soon so it can be short when whatever I put what you say in my hair plz respond
I'm here because I saw you use this spray in the 'Edward Furlong from Terminator 2' video. I'm trying to go for that look right now. I'm curious what your intention was when you used this spray for that style. My hair is pretty wavy but can get a little lifeless once I flat iron it. I'm curious if the spray would help out in this use-case and allow me to maintain that Furlong look without adding so much moisture that my hair starts getting overly wavy again. I'm about to order the spray and one of your brushes now. Thanks for this content - it's excellent.
When I first started watching this video I was thinking _salt in your hair??_ but then I researched it online and now I'm thinking this stuff might actually help me with a scalp problem I've been struggling with since 2008.
I tried 4-5 spritzes of sea salt spray on my 3-day hair, scrunched it and let it air dry hoping to get rid of that greasy look but it didn't help me. Should I be spraying it on my scalp and then massaging it all over? Some help would be really appreciated. I have fine, nape length hair and I do not plan on styling it after the application of the spray (as I don't get enough time in the mornings).
question. would a dry texture spray achieve the same result or better than sea salt spray. I just bought a really high end dry texture spray. Only thing is idk if its directed for people with certain hair types(more fine hair looking to achieve volume). Cause i have really thick hair that is slightly curly. But i want to enhance the wave and get some gritty texture and body to hair. Would a texture spray not be good for my hair. Cause maybe my hair wasnt reset from the other day(I used some cream), but didnt take a shower. So the next day when i went to apply texture spray i got a ton more volume, but my hair felt a bit heavy and my hands were getting caught in it towards the ends. Prob due to the product from day before not getting washed off. So maybe its best to always apply it on clean dry hair.
I have wavy or slightly curly fine hair. I usually try to go for a pompadour style, but my hair isn't generally straight enough for it, so I often blowdry and then gently iron to straighten it out. Would I be able to use this product and then iron my hair straight?
You can also just mix a cup of salt and water at home. I used to do that. Trying to put it in something like a spray bottle probably won’t work because the salt granules may clog it. Use hot/warm water to make it dissolve easier. It’s fine for it not to be warm after that
@@charlesbcraig I have a beach 200 meters from home, but I was reading the other day if you get salt water in your hair too many days it's not that great from the hair health prespective, so idk 🤷🏻♂️

@@yusufk1712 Pure sea salt spray should not have a strong odor, as it typically contains minimal or no added fragrance. However, some sea salt sprays may have a subtle scent from natural ingredients or the minerals found in the salt. If you notice a strong, unpleasant smell from your sea salt spray, it may be a sign of spoilage or added ingredients that are not natural.
