I was born the wrong color, in the wrong neighborhood...
Underground rap artist, Jason "Propaganda" Petty, grew up a fish out of water. Born black in a mexican neighborhood. A poet and artist in the midst an alpha male urban environment. When his family went suburban, it got no better. Now he was the poor black kid in the all white neighborhood.
So who was Jason "Propaganda" Petty? What was his purpose in life, his identity? How would he find himself? Was he an artist or a thug? Rich or poor? Black, caucasian, or Mexican? Watch his film and discover the surprising answers he found to life's most challenging questions.
the line that sticks out to me is when he says " Iv'e been the only my whole life, so if I'll be the only there i'll be the only here" It made me realize how my life and feeling that way maybe shaped me into the kind of person that could stand for christ and unpopular teachings because just used to standing alone. Beautiful moment when you realize how God uses things for good to shape you.

Mr. Petty. Your person, whom Christ has given you, is Heavenly beautiful. John 14:27. John 13:34. I know why He made you for running for "all of the above" as you put it in this video. But that's just my personal conviction. So I hope to humbly offer to you these scriptures as to why I think that you're doing the work your doing with the talents that He gave you.

Mr. Petty, I believe that the term "Israel" means "The Family of God". I believe it means those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and accept HIs suffering and blood for their sins and burdens and be willing to lay all that at His feet and not hold onto this world to get revenge on someone else for their problems or suffering; but keep the first and great commandments;

I was born in Detroit in 1970. I am pale, pale white. My sister died before me in 1968 at the age of 5 months. My father was working a lot at the engine plant and my Mom could not get downtown to the hospital by bus because of the Race Riots. The roads were closed. My sister died alone from heart dysfunction. My parents later divorced and my precious Dad who raised me was the same color of your skin. I was hated, beaten and outcast in Detroit for my Dad 'defiling' the blacks for marrying my Mom and loving me and taking care of me. When I was 11, (1981) we moved to Houston. It was the reverse persecution. But the Whites were worse about it in my experience. They were more sneaky, more cruel and more relentless. I know what a Black Panther is and I wouldn't approach you from what you've said in this video; not in person. I don't know that you've whether you've decided what you think about what the Black Panthers believe and if that contrasts to the way that I believe about the scriptures that I have listed above. But what I see in your story is that The Lord prepared you to be a gatherer of Israel between Blacks and Hispanics . . . to be a genuine friend and benefit to those down in the mire of the world . . . and to offer them a hand up to a better place spiritually; which is where you are. And that is beautiful. Did you think of this yet . . . that Jesus is THE ALPHA MALE? . . . And you're growing to be more like Him each day. And that is beautiful.
