Where I'm working, taking away a phone is too much of a legal grey area compared to 10 years ago. Too many parents have tried and some have even succeeded in suing over it. Because of that it has become district policy at the Jr and High schools to just let them have them out as long as they aren't being disruptive with it.
My youngest had qietly having her phone in her hand as part of her IEP. She's 21 now & a couple of teachers had a huge issue with this until they saw what happened when they tried to take it. My then 13 yr old had 2 very traumatic incidents in 2 yrs & had severe PTSD. I could not get her in the building if she couldn't maintain that connection to me. When a man yelled near her, she'd freeze & need to be carried out. Her math teacher had to completely change how he dealt with unruly teens in her hour because every time he yelled she'd freeze, shake & tears would stream down her face. She always had to be carried out when that happened as she couldn't move so the VP told the teacher if that happened again he'd get a disciplinary. It was A LOT to deal with & she'd just quietly hold her phone in her hand, bugging nobody but knowing I was only a text away if she needed to & that was enough for her to be ok-ish.

The company should take the missing workers into account and not punish the other employees.

Wheather you think it was doomed to fail from the start, or was executed poorly by Oregon's government (be it because they were incompetent or made it look bad on purpose so people would stop making "unreasonable" demands for changes to how drug addiction and crimes related to it are handled), there's no denying the law as it was backfired like Ron Weasley's wand after he broke it in Chamber of Secrets.

AFAIK, Most of it’s social stigmas for MTF, and from what I’ve heard from FTM, it’s apathy. In general, it’s relearning how to be social and act in public, because people typically raised a certain way, and suddenly have to learn the norms associated with their gender identity.

The biggest downside is the way society treats you, and most people love to hate trans, so posting anything about the topic from an un-bias view will get you attacked. I wouldn't expect to see any content relating to it, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
