Been thinking about shifters and your vid is a good one to watch. I’ve seen everyone pushing the short throw shifters out there and I appreciate that you address this, personally I don’t mind the standard throw and I def need to do what I can to maintain my trans since it’s got almost 118k…. This will be at the top of my mod list for spring… the factory shifter is just way too vague for me. Thanks for the review… Dave

I will probably hate it.. Everyone always trys to down play the NVH and I hear its bad.. I can't stand NVH.. I did a Steeda Body Mount and Trans insert, and I pulled that insert back out the very next day.. It felt so Bad.. OMG Bad.. It wasn't even trans mounted and as soon as I hit 3000 RPM the whole inside of the car shook and made crazy noise.. I don't think this is going to be for me at all.. I love the soft/ smooth feel of stock... Stay out of the red and you don't have to worry about lock out as much..
i know it vibrates through the knob,but does it make any noise as in rattling or any other annoying noise,i dont rest on the shifter so i dont care about the vibration,its the noise i,m worried about
Are you still happy with this upgrade in your Boss Maryna? My Boss feels indecisive and notchy. Looking to resolve. Otherwise love the car, just hate the shift feel. My Tremec in my Z06 feels clean, concise and responsive every shift. Looking for my MT82 to have similar feel is all. Thanks

I just ordered the MGW Race spec and haven't been charged yet so I know it hasn't been shipped and I wonder if I should have went with the X Spec over the race spec. I'm not sure if my shifter is stock or shortened but it needs to be replaced due to reverse lock out issues.
I do. You can always choose an add on post sale and have both as an option. If I were to re order for a new car coming *wink wink* it’ll be the shortest version made available

Hey Jacob, just picked up a '13 gt and was wondering if you have had the infamous blinking or solid check engine light coming on with hard acceleration after 3000 rpm's with the engine losing a bunch of power at that point?
@@JacobRDoty, no sir it's a manual. The 2013's built before a certain date are kind of notorious for it. Something to do with the crank sensor o-ring. Not a big deal, just cant wind it out full throttle! 😡
When I do it traction control is off. I have a new crank sensor with the o-ring on the way so we will see what happens. I'll let yall know so if yall have any friends having the same problem just spread the word!
I’ve been experiencing some pretty bad high rpm lockout in my coyote. Anything about 6k in a 1st to 2nd shift is nearly impossible. I know it needs a clutch and probably a shifter. Definitely plan on going with a MGW, but what affordable clutch would you recommend? I know a mantic and high end mcleouds are very common but those are a little out of my price range right now. Thanks!
I have a 14 5.0! thanks to you I’m gonna order that MGW mod. by “roll” I mean I just get on the road with u typical around the city run 😂. I love your car man and your videos just give me extra ideas keep it up💯
@@aidenerickson7928 the 13-14 does have a couple of extras that u cant have on the 11-12. Mainly the standard hid's and the dual tip corsa are my biggest disappointments, but i do love the hood and the front fascia, looks more aggressive on the 11-12.

You’re forgetting all the other real carbon I have on the car. The only fake carbon is the interior radio bezel and console. You’re definitely wrong trying to allude to my car being a ricer

I was going to get the X Spec for my 2011 GT, but the standard appears to be really good. So thinking I might be doing that now!

Yes. It does help. But it doesn’t help high rpm lockout. That’s 100% clutch
My car has grinding at WOT above 6k. Lockout at 7k. I assume I need a new clutch as well

You could be spinning an your traction control activates. Happens to me sometime. But it's the traction control light flashing
When I do it traction control is off. I have a new crank sensor with the o-ring on the way so we will see what happens. I'll let yall know so if yall have any friends having the same problem just spread the word!

6k rpm is not a pretty high shift... and you said no lockout. If it doesn't shift at 7k to 7800 rpm then no big deal. Stock shifts fine at 6k
