I had converted my Maruti wagon R VXI model 2006 to CNG gas conversion and had fitted Lovato brand kit in year 2012..I was using it for past ten years and recently changed my car.
Following are my observations
Pick up of vehicle in ghat section for retrofitted vehicle is less.
Mileage of CNG in plain section for my car was around 22Km with AC.
Also if you fit the cylinder type tank weight of the rear side with cylinder,gas and person increases.As orginal company design for vehicle is not suited for this,if the vehicle is driven in pot holes suspension problem will be there.
Utmost care to be taken while driving in uneven roads.
Lastly without fail after conversion RTO passing and insurance policy to be changed accordingly,to avoid problem during claim.

I have converted my grand i10 2019 model from petrol to LPG sequential kit last one month before. It cost approximately ₹30000 in tiruneveli. Mr.tamil from santosh auto gas,chennai came to tiruneveli and done all the fitting. My car was giving milage of 15 kmpl in petrol bcoz I ride my car mostly at a average speed above 90 kms. And daily I run around 80kms from home to office and back. So after LPG conversion I had a great savings in my petrol cost. And performance of the car also I don't feel much difference still I drive my car around 120 kms in LPG some times and average I go around 90 kms.still my car giving milage of 13 kmpl. So my option is if u are using ur car frequently and if u want to save ur fuel cost u can convert it into LPG sequential kit. But try to do with some experts mechanic.

My first Maruti 800 fitted with LPG.It is economical.2009.
My Maruti Zen is also fitted with LPG 2012.
Still running good.
No engine problem.
Torque and power produced will be 5 to 10% less than Petrol.
Inspite of that with LPG i gone to Ooty as well as Yercaud in gas only.
As Engineer i am assuring it.

Valve seat recession happens if you run on gas with sequential kit. The liquid type injectors are still not available in india. This happens due to higher temperatures from vaporised gas , unlike petrol which is around 400c and also helps to cool valves as it evaporates. Please look into this as many wont even talk about this. Also the lag and timing issues were only addressed in sequential kits..

2) Gas odour varuma via AC vents ? any possibility of leakage due to bumps on spead breakers ? How to identify leaks ?

4) if circle model tank placed in stepny area, can we place full load in boot ?
5) Impact of Pick up in slope / hill drives ?
6) Can we stop using gas completely by emptying the tank and drive with petrol alone ? or any specific conversion again required ?

I am not a mechanic..but I am owing car with LPG..so let me clarify..
1. You can identify the Gas level by Fuel Meter which was fixed during LPG installation..
2. No Odour will be dissipated from LPG tank or pipe via AC vents..dont worry
3. Even if u continuously run ur vehicle in Speed brakers, you won't find any gas leaks..
4. No object should be placed on LPG tanks
5. Yes that's the problem in LPG.. PICKUP.. but it is not a problem for moderate speed driver.. it is only problem for race driver..
6. Yes u can completely run on LPG and empty the LPG tank and afterwards you change to Petrol and run the car..
they provide change over switch to change between LPG and Petrol..
My car run for 4 Rupees for one KM with AC...

Any vehicles run by petrol can be converted to LPG. Eg, Old TVS 50 to Modern Rolls Royce..Lovato sequential kit is best for conversion..You will not find any difference while driving. When AC on with fully load you may lag 5% of power. Mileage wise 1-1.5 km will reduce based on Engine CC. LPG doesn't cause harmful to engines as it is more purifier than petrol. So those who can't afford petrol price can instal it & have a pocket friendly drive..

As you said...Autogas is only the purest form of lpg.... i read domestic lpg cylinder contain impurities which damage engine parts....is it true ??
I’m using Chevrolet beat LPG from 2011....runs smooth...lpg price per kg 28 rs....at that time....and I bought from company fitted its more safe than these types of conversations.....my car came with automatic system.where it’ starts in petrol and automatically converts to gas....I saved a lot for the past 10 years.

Power lag will be there when ac is on....but not so evident,also while taking sudden overtaking with AC on ,always advised to shift one gear down ,to get surge power(I'm using sequential kit for my Estilo)
mileage will be ± 2kms similar to petrol, depends on tunning.Im using Zenith pro sequence kit,no issues so far.
service- mostly every gas conversion dealer will have all type of kit softwares no need to stick with particular brands.

And also flow evalo daan full aa vachalum performance petrol ku equal aa illa bro. But nan cylinder la full service dan panirunden. So i removed my gas tank. This is the problem i am facing bro. i am using my wagon r lxi model for the past 3 years , 40000 kms in gas mode, the only difference in petrol and gas is the sudden pulling power not expect in the gas mode ,
Cons
1.if we travel in a very tight city traffic we need some quick pickup could not expect in the gas mode,
2. Normally petrol engines are smooth and less noize but gas mode make some extra noise while in AC usage condition
3. Hill station not preferable in gas because need more power.
Pros
1. No maintenance for gas.
2. Economical when compare to petrol.
3. Every day car user preferable for gas due to price in petrol/diesel.
Today gas price at Rs.46 . millage difference in gas petrol =1.5 to 2 litres maximum

Both are same, like cooking purpose is called lpg .. automobile purpose is called cng..
LPG= Liquified natural Gas, it will be in Liquid state and comprises of Propane (C3) and Ethane(C2) and CNG is Compressed Natural gas and it will be in Gas State and comprised mostly of Methane (C1) which is very light comparing with LPG
I'm using sycounsial lpg kit which is fixed by this person, it's working fine, he is supporting good, I recommend this shop

Fitted Maruti Wagon R 2007 petrol model 3 cylinder 1060cc vehicle
100% u will feel the difference in petrol and LPG while driving.
After driving 50km in high way with LPG mode,if you change the petrol mode, you will feel the difference.
Performance wise not recommended.
Recommended only to save the petrol cost and mileage.
Warranty will be voided if you fitted LPG kit.
It is recommended to fit LPG kit once warranty period is over

When you filing the gas from bunks because of oil compressor, the oil will come into your tank and without filters on prolong use it will clog all the injectors. It is the existing problem. Only in company fitted lpg or cng had those high and low pressure filters. Even in maruti getting that filter spare is difficult.

It's wrong slightly,
When mode will switch to LPG, is when the coolant temperature reaches 55°c, so that vaporizer will convert liquid to gas.
It's not based on RPM.
And
I have been using an LPG Car from 2012,
It covered 55000km totally, so let's say I ran 49000km in lpg, remaining 6000km in petrol, now the car age is 9 years,
Last month I saw gas getting leaked in engine bay, but the engine bay has gas sensor, so it switch off the engine.
The reason was the rubber tube from vaporizer to engine got lost its grip due to age and I replaced it,
And there will be 2 filters which needs to changed.

I had been driving my Honda civic on car lpg for more than 2 years.. Definitely it saves a lot of money and performance wise I didn't notice any difference between petrol and car lpg.. I got it done at Santhosh Car gas by Mr. Tamil.. He is a very knowledged person in this matter..

Anna en car santro xing na lpg kit install paniruken. No problems still now I have crossed 10000 kms. The kit costs 12500 rupees. Tank only second hand. Other kits are new. But I faced some starting trouble at the beginning for 4 times after that no issues it's almost equal to petrol performance.
