@@redspotaudio Same here! This year, I am going to add a streamer and other gear and will report my experience on how easy or hard it is to integrate into vintage gear.
"Tube amps have clearer midranges than solid state" said former TAS editor Harry Pearson. "I never thought of that before" I introspected, "but you know what, at least in my experience he is right." If its a good tube amp it can be tight and defined in the bass; expect it to sound richer and meatier. The vintage tube amps had highs that sounded a little soft and rolled off, but still nice...and SMOOTH. Of course I was spoiled having a Dynaco ST 35, which is becoming a bit of an underground legend. If your associated gear and speakers are a little transient slow, you might find it even worse with a tube amp. But if you have gear and speakers that are transient quick, there shouldn't be any problem at all. You will like the depth and bigger spaces between instruments, front to back, and you will probably like the added warmth and body. Happy New Year to all.
Hey brother i just left you a question on your upload video of your Pioneer Pl-90 turntable. Would you take a moment and review my question so i can possibly be more comfortable knowing i have it setup properly as far as the overhang goes. Thank you and happy new year.

Wishing you a great 2025. Greetings from Brazil.
Thank You! HNY! 🙂
I have a Willsenton R8 still in the shipping box. A new years resolution...
I think 2025 is the perfect year for an unboxing! LOL
Thanks! I have the upgrade psvane tubes also. A new turntable, speakers, dac and transport in boxes too. I need one of the bedrooms! Lol.
Happy New year audio enthusiasts! My resolution for 2025 is to finally get my first tube amplifier!
Good resolution! They are certainly a fun addition to any system!
Love valve gear, I've had a couple of nice ones over the year. My resolution, is to buy my first streamer in March, leaning toward a Node N130.

Happy New Year! Great job with the channel. Truly enjoy the content and your take on things !!
Thanks for the kind words and Happy New Year!
I hooked up my KT-8300 tuner today! I had it but never used it. The variable output with my headphones...WOW!
Those old tuners can certainly sound great. I am working on something to showcase soon on tuners in general.
Happy New Year. Fired up the Marantz and KLH 17, Technics TT the last few days. Might need a little deoxit on the controls or not. Enjoy!
Sounds like a great start to the year! A bit of deoxit never hurts. :-)
