You can use pressurized air to remove the fine dirt and dust trapped inside the rug instead of the extra liters of water. I use that method for car floor mats and it works extremely well. You just need a high capacity air compressor and an air tip or gun that allows you to use the most airflow and pressure possible.

but it looked pretty good in the end
I’d believe it’s clean if he rubbed his face against it after he’s done😂
Cant go wrong with James, he is an amazing rug cleaner
Yeah, you clean it by throwing it away.
And don't call me wasteful or saying it keeps it out of a landfill.
I'm saying that if the resources needed to clean it and what chemicals used to clean it goes back into the environment, is it really worth just tossing it or even burning it on a garbage pile.
I was thinking it'd be better to submerge it in the river for a few days and wait for nature to do its magic
yeah, you could always get a rug in much better condition that somebody else is throwing away.
were you not listening to anything they said at the beginning?
Jesus Christ ! At first I thought that rug’s place was in a 🔥 lol
Nice job sir
Cheers from San Diego California
Started watching this, & it was soo relaxing that I began to fall asleep. Nighty Night folks💤😴
That dirty rug is like my soul.
Love that this went to a dog shelter 🙂
Thought the same thing.
This is probably the most satisfying video I’ve ever watched
Just watching this for the satisfaction 😌
This is like the director's commentary/cut of the initial video. Explains just what the reasoning for what the did.
Why was this so satisfying to watch
Buying a new rug would cost less than pay for that cleaning
Essentially, I needed the dirtiest rug I could find to use for this UA-cam video, otherwise this would have been trashed.
Why is this so satisfying to watch ?

Great job. I could really get into cleaning rugs - so satisfying!
The most satisfying video I have ever watched.
Cleaning treatment probably costs more than the rug
You can use pressurized air to remove the fine dirt and dust trapped inside the rug instead of the extra liters of water. I use that method for car floor mats and it works extremely well. You just need a high capacity air compressor and an air tip or gun that allows you to use the most airflow and pressure possible.
i always store rugs covered in mud. i had about 12 mud rugs and i sent all to this guy. he cleaned them all
That rug might be clean now but I'm still too scared to be close to it.
I have a terrible fear of insects and the like (except for butterflies and ants) so you would have to give me a lot of money to touch that thing after it was cleaned.
I would buy a new one
So would anyone else. This rug wasn’t being cleaned for repurposing, it was just for fun.
