It really did seem like we would never leave bed and we would always feel the same state of being content. We recently ended things and now I’m thinking that this song is more abt being mindful of where your relationship is being steered and that it’s okay to leave bed. Get out and do something with your significant other. It’s okay to not feel the same. You won’t know how to navigate feelings of discomfort or deal with an issue later down the line otherwise. What I’m saying is get out of the comfort zone of your relationship and truly find comfort in the uncomfortable. Love this song!
