Jumpstyle is really straining on my front bone between knee and ankle. I don't know what to do? (Shinbone, there are more than one bone there but at least in that area)
From what you describe me, this is caused by periostitis inflammations My best advice : 1) Use better shoes (ex : running shoes) 2) Try to absorb the ground better when jumping. Work on being light when dancing. Don't do like most Jumpers nowadays: kicking really hard on the ground. 3) Use ice 3 times a day, 10 mins per session 4) REST. At least a week With training, your body will get used to this pain and will automatically reinforce itself. I had this for 6 months. We were building a Jumpstyle Show for 8 weeks, 8 hours of dance per day. Check the link below if you're a native english speaker : www.podimedic.com/en/foot-problems/sportsman/periostitis/ Hope it helped ;)
@@PostNeoHardDances I'd recommend resistance training 3x week for foundational strength on top of that, many people totally inactive try a new sport and suddenly they have strains, joint issues and tendon inflammation everywhere, this is a marker of poor health and ofcourse it's fixed with exercise but most effectively with heavy lifting (plus stretching). It would also help to describe the type of pain e.g: dull/sharp since it might just be DOMS. IK comment is old but maybe it'll help someone.
This is actually helpful! A lot of tutorials don’t treat the “beginning” step as having your right foot back, which is what you would do naturally if you’re looping it. That’s caused me a lot of confusion because I’m so focused on starting at step 2, I’m not thinking of it as the right leg just swinging forward from step 1. 😑 Are you kidding, this makes so much more sense... thank you so much!
Im probably going to mix this in with a little bit of a shuffle dance, jump style is definitely something I’ll try in the near future. I’m going into high school and at the dances this shall be my next move after some nice months of preparation
Omg. This is almost exacty the instructions I got on an ancient youtube video back in 2009!! Big ups bro going to europe to some festivals next year. Going to embrace my youth and smash this tutorial.
@@PostNeoHardDances I'm from Germany 😅 Our teacher always tries out new things since his main goal is to help us find something we like to do and might even continue doing in our freetime!

I have a question . . . this cycle is 5 beats, but most song is 4/4... does that make it awkward? you'll be "off synch" wouldn't you? how do you make sure you end the song on the right beat?
Hey ! In Jumpstyle we almost not paying attention to that. Most dancers are doing freestyle. They hit the changes in the rhythm. They know by experience when the music is going to end. It's not like in Ballet where you would have to follow precise count cycles of 8 counts for example. It doesn't make the dance look awkward at all. In the case that you dance choreographies, you can use only 4/4 counts if you want. Most tracks are 64 beats so that "should" be fine. For freestyle, you need to be experienced and feel the music. Did i answer your question? Glad you asked about it, i totally forgot to address it in the video :D
@@PostNeoHardDances ya it makes sense haha. i went to argentina once and they were dancing a 3/3 rhythm to a 4/4 song, it was pretty cool too and felt totally natural. but I do suspect since you have a hard kick sound on every beat, it makes it smooth to do any time signature when ur dancing, you just kick through all the moves. I danced to this tutorial and some jumpstyle songs, it felt natural as well. good times
I barely even use my arms while walking... And when I do they barely even match the leg I'm using. Am I fucked? Nice to have new tutorials too, feels good to see that the dances lives on.
La jambe de soutien va à l'opposé de l'autre jambe, on ne saute pas sur place. Enfin, si, mais il y a un plus gros switch. La jambe morte n'est pas aussi verticale il me semble

Very so different move leg left and right ..look tutorial is so easy but im try it is not easy when im look tutorial..must be balance move hand left and right..balance performance must control brain..dont confused long live traning..😄😄..normal jumpstyle but hard if new training
A good thing to know when jumping is you're actually supposed to jump 2 bpm faster than the actual beat, for example, if you are listening to acsida, gyrotta zao, or yabujin, you should jump 2 bpm after the beat, because your body and reaction time take a second to do all the steps in order to hit that beat on the right time, for example, LISTEN+PROCESS+PUT FOOT DOWN and then you would put it back up, just a helpful tip for you, also if you're having trouble and you don't know if you're doing it correctly or if you want to get better, I recommend you start recording yourself and try to see the difference, recording yourself is a very good way to get better at jumpstyling, mind you, everyone has their own style of jumping, it's not going to look exactly the same as a video, I hope this helps, have fun with your new hobby!
