You cannot compare batteries of different voltages using mAH. Because physics: P = VI. Hence, your USB 5V 5000mAH battery has 25AH of energy (effectively around 20AH due to conversion/charging inefficiencies). Your Macbook Air 11.5V 4379mAH has 50.3AH of energy. By convention, people use mAH for power banks because by default, phones usually have 5V batteries (so they assume everyone is using a 5V battery).
Really helpful video thanks! Even just seeing the size of that Cygnett device in a persons hand helps really contextualise it. I've ended up buying a small charger for my needs.
so in summary did you actually recommend this particular power bank? your review is the only decent one but you never said if this one is any good and its on special at noel leeming right now haha
It seems to work quite well. My major thing with any battery is longevity. They all seem to work at first but with time the battery drains when not used and there is no power available when you need it. I haven’t seen this issue with this one so far.

That is probably how they fool all of us!

You should be able to plug it into any regular charging adaptor you have (eg for a phone).
Me too got it brand new with a charger and it doesn’t charge
That’s not good. I’ve not had an issue. Are you using the USB-C port?
this is so useful for camping
It is. Anytime you can’t access a power outlet. An indispensable tool
