Eye contact is often cultural or to do with how that person is wired, for example they maybe neurodivergent...yet genuinely enjoy your company ...just not be comfortable with close interactions such as eye contact.
Learn to read individuals "standing face" and personal body language.
You can generally learn to recognise people with anxious personalities or who require above average spacing.
People with hearing issues have different body language as well.

On that first one it shouldn't always be felt as an insult or a matter or comfort. Some people are simply more introverted /socially anxious and their "bubbles" are bigger.

Great vid. I would add that peoples body language can also be misinterpreted. As a Mother to young children I would often be enjoying a conversation with someone while actively "keeping an eye" on my kids. Looking around can be an indication of someone practicing situational awareness. This may be low key, or very obvious. This may indicate a lack of sleep, too much coffee, a need to go to the loo coupled with a desire not to interrupt the conversation etc. A good idea is to note how the person is behaving towards others. If they regularly stand near others but distance from you it may be something as simple as not liking the smell of your deodorant.

I always say this when I'm in an argument with someone and they always try to over talk you and their whole body language just says that the conversation you're having is just not going to work

If somebody is situationally unaware, and they probably should be, do you make them aware?
