I was at Hell in a Cell 2019 with my boyfriend. People were pissed off with that ending. There were chants of "bullshit', "AEW", "we want refunds", and lots of booing. A lot of people hung out outside the arena after the show and just talked shit about it.
The fiend match vs Rollins was what caused me to walk away from wwe. I occasionally watch a PPV but that's it. That injustice still burns me to this day.
I know The Fiend has his fans, but boy did/does he suck as a character. Fans were mad at the ending in the arena and started chanting AEW and a lot of people in my section said they were going to see if they could get their money back. For me it really wasn’t worth it since I got the tickets at a really crazy discount through work due to my company having a sponsorship deal with the golden 1 center. I get cheap tickets to kings games and events when they come. But it was a really bad ending and in the arena everyone seemed pissed
Why no one talks about the ending of 2018 hell in a cell because brock lesnar interfered and there was no winner crowned so it basically happened an year before in 2018. However, 2019 just killed it completely.
