Every thing you suggested touched me. #1 God has never deserted me. It is I who deserted Him. My children do know my sins and I pray every day that they will see I was called back. #2 I do have tremendous joy all the time (not to say I do not have any feelings in down time, I do.). But more than ever I know all will be OK because God will take care of all no matter if my kids are a mess, if my country is a mess, and here is the biggest one....if my Church is a mess. In my late 7Os I went to a Latin Mass after being in Vatican II for six decades. What I never ever expected was the peace that settled over me for the entire day afterwards. I have been at TLM for three years now and I no longer worry about where the Church is headed ( have been listening to podcasts about Rome and Francis this whole time). It is important to be obedient but it is equally important to be well-informed. And this brings me to #3 Jesus is not my "bud" but is my Savior and Master. My husband (90 yrs old) and I (79 now) pray the daily rosary which we never did before. God will answer our prayers about saving our seven children. It may not be while we are on earth, but it will happen in some fashion. And that is the joy. Glory to Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Thank you most blessed Virgin for consenting to be His mother. Life is marvelous
