It's funny how actual latinos actually know how each other sound, look, how similar and different we all are. The vibes are always positive. I'm proud of where we were born. ALSO it's Colombia, there's no translation to Columbia, they have been calling specifically for this.
Columbia is a state in the usa.
@@andreidedei I know, I hear the name a lot because it's where a lot of US gov buildings are located. She's from the country of Colombia, which stems from Colon which is how Columbus was called in Spanish, and from there also is where the name Columbia came. But Colombia, the country, has been asking to not translate it to Columbia, they specifically ask for this, there's a couple of articles. I tried linking one, but links get filtered out.

Hi World Friends, I just want to let you know that the country name is Colombia not Columbia. And when you’re referring to someone from this country is called Colombian not Columbian. As a Colombian person I can tell that is very stressful that people confuse these two places. One is in South America and the other is in the US. I hope in future videos you can change that. Great video!!😉
their subtitles are always a mess... yeah i definitely agree that it needs to be fixed bc it's very incorrect
yes i agree, spelling a country's name correctly is the basic respect someone can show!
Thank u, I'm from Colombia and it was giving like anxiety lol
Same here. I was very annoyed seeing how people always spell our nationality wrong. It shows a disregard.
In my language it's Kolumbija (Columbia) so it can be confusing sometimes when we are switching to English.

Panama's accent has been described as neutral. That's why it's so hard to tell as well as that many people just aren't aware of it. Panamanians also talk really fast like other Caribbean people.
It sounds just like any other caribbean country, I am from the Dominican Republic and it is hard to tell when a panamanian speaks which country is from just when they put some slang word is when I can tell, this is a list of places that speak kind of similar, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Canary Island from Spain, caribbean coast of Venezuela, Caribbean coast of Colombia, Caribbean coast from Honduras, and many others.

Just from living in areas with large Brazilian populations and watching MMA and related sports, the Brazilian accent is incredibly distinctive compared to other Central and South American accents, as well as other Portuguese accents. One example is the "etch" sound that gets added when a word ends with a "t" or even a "d". Or the letter "r" being pronounced like an "h".
The "tchi" sound at the end of words you're right, only brazilians do that, but the R sounds are the same in all portuguese variations.
But yeah our accent is very different from other latin american countries since we speak different languages.
Btw, don't exclude the Mexicans lol
Óbvio, são idiomas diferentes 🤷♂️
exactly, another difference is that most brazilian portuguese accents the dark l sounds like an u, so most of the times we say Braziu, not Brazil. PT-PT is different.
Not all Spears with this Tchi in The end, a round 25 millions dont.
When the word ends in a consonant, or ends with "e", Brazilians tend to "soften" the sound, that's why "Internet" becomes "internech" this happens even with words in Portuguese.

It's interesting that they guessed the Brazilian girl right when she said "Google". I speak Portuguese and all of them sound exactly the same to me but somehow they could hear her Portuguese accent lol.
They did not sound the same! Pay attention at the end of her pronunciation/GooGLE. It’s like “goul” while the others are more like “glê”
*Brazilian accent. She is speaking Portuguese, but the accent is Brazilian
As a Chilean I found the "Korean" girl was Argentinian right away, we are used to Argentinian pronunciation
I’m Uruguayan and I could tell the Argentinian and Brazilian girl right away. Brazilian girl didn’t need to speak I notice she’s wearing flip flops and only Brazilians walk around all dressed up wearing a par of havaianas
@@ananina9554KKKKKK exatamente é viciado em havaianas ❤
Apparently Koreans are 0.004% of the population in Argentina.
@@TRex-dd4ze And? nobody said that Argentina is the most diverse country or that there are a lot of Koreans... here we are talking about her accent being 100% Argentinian (rioplatense Spanish). So yes, it's pretty obvious that she is Argentinian.
@@s1lv10-94este cara é doido kkk😂, só pensa em raça.
I love the Mexican girl that didn't guess solely by stereotypes and immediately clocked Loida as Argentinian. It was so obvious to me, there are more asian-argentines than people would guess.
"Internech" and they all scream Brazil! 😂
The easiest way of telling who was from Brazil was just seeing who was wearing flip flops XD
lol, in the European video, the easiest one was France. The asian one was Japan. And in this one, Brazil, the only portuguese speaking country in Latin America. Very funny videos.
Europe : ua-cam.com/video/KLGxU4SUxek/v-deo.html
Asia : ua-cam.com/video/pEwcbDqYboo/v-deo.html
China is as easy as Japan.
I was refering about languages, not about their ethnics.
Watch the Europe vid, you can identify easily the french guy by his french accent. In the Asia vid, you can guess easily Saki, the japanese girl, by the way she say some words (Coca-Cola).
I know we all love Ana... but you can clearly see quickly why Brazil should not be put in a situation like this. As soon as Ana starts speaking her native language, it is a clear giveaway.
The first girl I guessed Mexico when she said "internet". Because my experience talking with Mexicans, they have a strong "r" sound
The Argentinian girl did not mention mate from what I saw, she also said she did not drink Fernet, she said she is half Argentinian, and apparently Koreans are 0.004% of the population in Argentina. She may be a super nice girl and all that, but the producers of this video could have maybe picked someone a little more representative.
@@TRex-dd4ze we already have a lot of representations, the fact that they didn't pick the stereotype of Argentinian people once is OK. Choosing different people for the others countries in another video would be great too. As well as showing other Argentinian types
@@phantomquartz0586 I'll use all caps like you and say NATIONALITY is related to ETHNICITY. Of course it is. It's about having a home, being a people, being a cohesive community and it's called facts. The fact is there is a common ancestry, or ancestry mix for 98% of the Argentine population.
For future reference to the person who created the subtitles "Columbia" is a city in the USA, and "Colombia" is a country in South America, thank you.
Whenever latin American related videos come, they just give me joyful, tropical, cheerful vibe. Very very tropical vibe I get from these videos. Same happened today also. Love this. I'd love to visit these countries someday. An Indian here btw
You guys from India also have a lot of tropical vibes :)
@@williankran5082 yeah. True! But these Latin American countries are somewhat different. Altogether spread the vibe of chilling, dancing, enjoying, partying, summer etc etc etc. List will be long.
@@knowledgehunter_i think this vibe is mostly in northern and central part of south america, i live in the southern part of brazil and here i can't feel this vibe ;-;

Ecuador is hard to guess, because we have three really differents regions, we have like the indigenous part, which is the Sierra and they are similar to Bolivia, Peru, then we have the Amazon that are also native indigenous but a bit more in tune with nature and so, it is the serval zone and finally where I am from the Costa lka people are more Latino type Colombia but the Caribbean part yes, we are like the Dominican Republic and everything, but only in accents because physically we have a lot especially on the coast we have people who It looks European, people more like African roots, but there are also well-mixed people, the mountains and the Amazon have more of a pattern of appearance than the coast, but there are still variables. The girl there is definitely from the mountains, that's why she looks Bolivian and Peruvian.
When the girl said 'Chicheme' I was like: yess you chose a very Panamanian thing!! El Chichemito en la Chorrera :)
Que Viva La Chorrera
It's interesting the Mexican girl had mentioned the alcoholic beverage "torito" because is way too specific. That's a traditional beverage from the Mexican state of Veracruz, which is the state that I am from. It's not common that people outside the state is aware of the beverage. So my guess is that she's from Veracruz too. In Veracruz is also common to find people with Italian ascendency, like she mentioned, which I also have. Such a small world we live in! :)
I'm from chihuahua and I've never heard of it, so I think you are probably right! When she said "torito" I automatically thought of the spiky thorn looking things that stick to the soles of your shoes hahahaha
Our Brazilian accent always give us away in any language we speak, there's no way to hide it.
