Hi all! The smoothing filter was a mistake caused from learning how to use a new camera. It only appears in one more video. My apologies, it wasn’t on purpose. Also, Nico produces most hyped products and I produce most hyped hacks. ❤
I am glad that you state that you are using a filter (even if by accident).
It shows how unrealistic and fake today's "beauty" is. We are so used to the filters that people in everyday settings look bland. What most people don't know is that even beautiful models and actors mostly looks normal in real live, trust me I worked in the industry during student days.
I have seen the DIY lip black lip gloss and my question is...why don't ppl just buy a black lip gloss? Back in the day, one of the OG beauty gurus recommended a white lip gloss and a black lip gloss to darken and lighten your lip stick. Rimmel London had one that cost like 4 bucks. I just don't want built up mascara bacteria on a new lip gloss
Yeah some of these "hacks" is just straight up destroying your makeup and not even getting anything out of it. And most of them could only be a 1 time hack, because you end up destroying your makeup products in the process. Kids believe this stuff and theres even been a few deaths from people attempting what they see on some of these hacks.
Plus, old mascara is full of bacteria... And people are happily applying it to their lips!
Exactly. Just buy a product that's safe for use on the lips... or to ingest, which mascara is not.
@@khills The biggest worry about this hack. You're not supposed to mix products for the eye and mouth together unless the product explicitly says in can be used on both areas.
@@khills thank you for pointing this out... what you put on your lips you end up eating most of the time, and I bet mascara is rarely tested to make sure it's safe for ingestion, because like, who would normally eat mascara?? NO ONE.
Put the liquid blush in the darkest part. Buff in. Then cover with concealer. You want the blush colour to correct the dark area and neutralise then conceal to match skin. Mixing them just makes pink concealer
Also i like the idea of using an empty tube like that to clean the spoolies off to re use my favourite spoolies with different formulas
If you put your mascara wand in the lip gloss, make sure you wash the wand before using it on your eyes next time. Lip gloss has oils which can cause eye cysts.
No, just don't do it, mascara isn't meant to be used on the lips
I love these hack videos, but I really caution everybody of they use the mascara one. Mascara is meant to be used on the eyes/eye area. It's not safe to ingest the way lipstick or lip gloss is and why it's not meant to be used around the mouth. The same way lip gloss isn't in formulated to eye safe. Just be careful!
Girl I have bad under eye circles and the pink lipstick works like magic with the concealer! I use avon mark matte lipstick in TKO! And it works better than any peach corrector! But I don t set it with the blush just a transluscent loose powder.
I don't wanna be judgey...but why do you own Avon makeup? Mlm companies always have bad to mediocre product quality, and they are always way overpriced. This is nothing against you and it's just makeup. I just dont trust mlms lol
@@kelsey2333 I actually love Avon's make up! And the price is really good for me! I even use their skincare products like the hyaluronic acid is really good! Shower gels, perfumes...I just gave the ref of the lipstick so that they will know what shade of pink I use to conceal my under eye circle!
I would try the blush "baby doll hack" with a different color. A soft pink would look cute on you. Nars blush in the shade Gaiety would be my choice for your complexion.
The rare beauty liquid blush is so pigmented that I think a half of what you used on one eye would have worked for both.
You have very fair, thin skin under the eyes like I do. So... Yea these don't work as well unless you're using a light pink color corrector only on the dark area and nowhere else. Under concealer. Light peach to light mauve is what works for me
I don’t think you’re applying the correcting blush correctly. You apply the blush first and then concealer. You also need to wear foundation for everything to work out.
I don't think that it's safe to have a product that's supposed to be on your eyelashes on your mouth cause as the day goes on it gets in your mouth and it could be toxic but the look is cute, maybe, try a bit of liquid black lipstick.
Isn’t it easier to just buy black gloss? Or black lipstick and put gloss on top? Seems so dumb to waste a whole bottle of gloss on one thing.
I was just going to say that blush hack makes you look ill, and then you said that... so that was pretty hilarious, I also think the girl from the hack looks Sun burnt or embarrassed, so embarrassed her redness is coming through her caked on makeup
I’ve been seeing a lot of people going for the “sick” look lately as a makeup trend. Something tells me it’s going to stay a trend (aka “in” one day, “out” the next day).
This is japanese igari technique, supposed to imitate asian flush they get after drinking wine. Its supposed to make you look vulnerable and innocent, kinda easy to lead. I actually use it for many years, its very old technique and i find it super cute, makes me look much younger and doll like which im into. Also helps to conceal when you've been up all night!

Generally you need a much redder lipstick to color correct the shade under your eyes, Try again with a red blush, not a pinky coral.

Are you sure you can eat whatever products are there in the mascara? Coz basically apply that on your lips you are gonna eat the mascara with the gloss.
OH GEEZ just got to the last "hack" and Insider, COME ON. Mascara is NOT SAFE TO INGEST. Which you do when you put things on your lips! Black lip gloss exists and is wonderful and not dangerous to consume. Don't post dangerous "hacks" - we have 5 Minute Crafts for that.

I feel like if you're skin already has redness to it, the blush makes you even look redder in areas you'd naturally be red, and therefore not as appealing. It also defeats the purpose of using concealer to cover up the redness when you're adding it back using such a heavy application. You just look like you're allergic to your makeup. The trend is a no from me.

Mascara isn't meant to be ingested so it shouldn't go on the mouth unless it specifically says so (like the products you can use as eye liners or lippies

Genuine question, why wouldn't you reshoot when you noticed the mistake of using the blurring filter? It makes the entire video a bit moot otherwise since the viewer can't make a fair judgement

Besides the filter... I don't think you are using the right colors for your skin tone. The blush should be brighter, probably a baby pink or very light peacg for you and your concealer looks almost darker (or more yellow) than your skin tone.
ladies, and guys, I'm a certified makeup artist and I urge you all, PLEASE do not use unintended products for eyes on eye area and eyes on lips or whatever unless specifically mentioned by the manufacturer that it's absolutely safe to be used anywhere.
Different products are made differently and certain ingredients/ pigments will cause irritations, breakouts and or cause allergies!
Don't do it unless you wished to visit a skin doctor and be slapped with a hefty bills to fix your skin after.

One of the most best hacks that they never talk about is keeping the overall skin blemish-free by staying in a local dermatologist at all times. Picking a foundation that matches your exact skin tone. 💯‼️👌🏼🥰🐇🧧🐇🎎📺🎥🖤💛🖤❄️😇 But some of the hacks are pretty good it's just time to remove all warts off of our faces. Looks better and you have total beautiful skin but it's a hard task to keep up sometimes but the joy is looking in the mirror with great skin. 🙋🏻♀️🌨️🌬️🥰❄️
