      I’ve read you have to keep the battery running via obd port with extra 12v battery in order for the cpu to not reset and cause more issues. Is this step completely necessary for my 2016 Corolla? I can’t find any info on it.

    God bless you my man. Thank you so much for this video. Very informative and straight to the point. I have one question though, when removing the battery you first removed the negative terminal (right) to avoid a nasty spark. Is there a reason when you put the new battery on you decided to slot back on the positive terminal (left) first?

    • @backyardchevy328
      @backyardchevy328  4 роки тому +6

      Thank you🙂 Yes, for the same reason..when u tighten the positive(while negative is disconnected)and if u hit something metal while ur tightening it, it wont spark until the negative is connected, so that's why the negative is disconnected first and also connected last.

    Question my man, been following this guide for the 3rd time now. Still works like a charm except when I was taking it out I accidentally dropped my battery about 30 (but less than 40 inches) from the ground. It landed with the bottom on the ground and the terminals facing upwards so they didn't get damaged and I don't see any leakage but is it safe to still use you think? Once again thank you for putting out this quality video that I still follow to this day. Much love brother
