- We compare specifications of Honda ADV350 and 2022 Yamaha XMax 300 (Tech Max).
Both Scooters feature Sub-300cc SOHC Liquid cooled engines.
Both the scooters feature big under seat storage space.

To me the ADV wins hands down because :
1/ Suspensions and "Suspension travel" for the front (125mm) AND the rear (130mm) on the ADV are superior ! on the Xmax : rear 79mm and front : 110mm (huge difference in favor of the ADV).
2/ There's 1 more liter of fuel on the ADV's tank's capacity
3/ Ground clearance on the ADV is better 145mm (to cross a sidewalk it could be useful), On the XMAX it's 135mm (not a lot less but yet it is less and can make a difference).
4/ bigger engine with slightly more power and torque 330cm3 on the ADV Vs 292cm3 on the XMAX
5/ 5 years Honda Warranty while Yamaha seems to offer only 3 years in my country FRANCE
6/ The ADV is 1000€ cheaper at 6349€ vs the Xmax tech max at 7299€ (as of january 3rd 2023)
7/ The ADV is better looking because it looks like his bigger brother the XADV which is the Superstar of the maxi scooter since a few years in my country. Weight is almost the same as the space under the seat too for both.
So for all these reasons I'll go for the ADV without hesitations

@@Alex-dz6xw I guess you’d be better off with the ADV since it’s got a slightly higher ground clearance than the Xmax.
And the suspensions are supposed to be a little bit better too.
Also 330cc for the ADV vs 292cc for the xmax. Not a big difference but the bigger the engine, the better I guess…
I’m 6’’1 myself and a big dude and I’m pretty sure the Xadv 750 would suit me better, but the price is twice the price of the ADV 350 so 😅…

In my opinion, the Honda ADV350 and the Yamaha XMAX 300 are two excellent mid-sized scooters.

Adjustable windscreen, higher clearance (for rough roads), up to date looks and wind protection hand guards... I would get the xmax still... there is something about it that makes me want it. It’s like the continuous battle between IPhone and Samsung Phones. I keep getting the iPhone when I know on paper the Samsung is better.
I love my Xmax but want a Tmax.
Well don't believe those internet bs dude.if you ride the adv you will notice that even at high position of windscreen is completely useless meanwhile Xmax have perfect protection from air.also the suspension of adv is not what they claiming.the rear suspension of the adv is the same garbage like xmax.you don't have enough space for your legs if you are from 180cm and above the bike is not for you.also Xmax looks way better even though Yamaha keeps the model the same for 5 years I think.overall I think Xmax is better choice

@@escanor9920 you calling me biased???why that??I made test ride both bikes and I ensure you that the Xmax rolling better.also a small correction,the suspension of the adv are not even better than Xmax,both bikes have shitty suspensions.the rear suspension of the adv is even worse than xmax.the top speed of adv is 147 km and the Xmax is 162 km/h,the air protection on Yamaha is excellent mean while adv have zero air protection.if you are more than 185cm tall as iam you will have problem at adv ,you will need to change seat coz the stock one pushing very close to the stearing bar.the price here at Greece is 6900 for Yamaha tech max and 7000 for adv.now about looking??I prefere Yamaha like all Yamaha motor bikes are better looking than Honda (personal opinion)
So after all you should go make test ride at both bikes and not calling me biased.i had and I still have a Honda motor bike.happy new year with health and peace

@@mchlmmc98 well I don't think so.adv is like a box.ugly and like it came from 2100.always it's matter of taste but considering that the 90% would say that Xmax is way more beautiful than adv.and tbh Yamaha always had better looking bikes than Honda
In my opinion Xmax is looking really like a decepticon... Speaking about design adv was winning the red dot design award. Honda is making products that have to be sell in all the world... In effect they are selling more than all... There is one reason... By the way... Each scooter or motorcycle has something beautiful and special... Is just about the taste...

now about me ,i had 3 honda 2 suzuki and 1 yamaha mbikes at my life.iam not fan boy of any brand but i found my self to like more the yamaha's .they have way better look than any other brand they not braking .i must to admit that honda have better plastic quality and you will never hear annoying noices from the plastics.
but overall yamaha have the best design,i dont know where do you live but at my country yamaha is no1 right now and they left honda behind many years ago.if you are searching for a second ,third hand bike then you buying a honda,if you need a brand new bike yamaha is one way option
here you can find yamaha parts even at fruit stores meanwhile for honda sometimes you waiting 3 and 4 months to arrive.this is the main reason that i abandoned honda.😁😁
