There is a lot of late 80s early 90s R&B influence throughout this album that is rad. And musically, at least with the chord structures and bass lines, I personally also hear a lot of Gospel music influence (also rad). These guys are the real deal with their instruments; I love how seamlessly they blend genres and influences. Well done, Iads! PS. The end groove of this song is unreal. I could loop that for hours.

That chorus could almost be from a Slaves track. Tyler's vocal delivery here almost sounds Jonny Craig-esque which is never a bad thing. Great opener, let's see where the rest of the album goes.
This is probably one of my favorite issue songs and I love all their songs. This song makes me very emotional and gives me so much motivstion.... I don't know why. Love you issues... Seen you twice and hope to see you guys more. Sick AF

I moved out of my ex fiancés apartment yesterday and moved into my own place..this was the only song that’s been making me feel like I’m not alone. We were engaged for 3 years then one day she just tells me I don’t love you anymore. It got so bad that I was put on medication after taking myself to the hospital one Wednesday night for almost attempting suicide. meanwhile I was starting recovery, she was already seeing someone new. I remember her telling me before I left not to hold onto anything and not to think we’re still gonna be friends in a year. I’m 23 years old and going through a crisis. This song is my medicine
