What political career? Corbyn is nothing more than a professional protester who has spent decades in parliament achieving absolutely nothing. I'm sure that Corbyn, who isn't clever, isn't insightful and is someone who has undergone virtually no political or ideological development, will have expected his career to remain forever on the fringes. From there he could say more or less what he wanted and flirt with all kinds of Big Men (IRA, PLO, Hamas, Hezbollah) , being a stooge or useful idiot and getting to feel a bit important. Unfortunately for those of us that really needed an effective opposition to the Tories, he didn't stay there.

Although Corbyn always tries to claim that he believes in peace and tries to bring opposing groups together in disputes, there is absolutely no evidence of this. He only seems to meet with groups he agrees with or likes. Shockingly he turned down an invitation to visit Yad Vashem! If you take the Tunisian scandal that the interviewer is asking him about, while Corbyn was there in 2014, to show that he wanted to 'honour' both sides, a visit to the El Ghriba synagogue would have been highly appropriate. He could have laid a wreath at the synagogue which was bombed by Al Qaeda in 2002, killing 21 people. But he didn't.
I'm glad he was thrown out of the Labour party - he doesn't belong in a mainstream social democratic party, or even in decent society.

In case you missed the point, the Labour Movement Campaign for Palestine proclaimed in the materials that it published for that 1984 event that it sought nothing less than “to eradicate Zionism.” That's the world's only Jewish state, in world of 56 Muslim nations and 103 Christian ones - going after Israel, misrepresenting it (a lot of criticism of Israel is justified, a lot of it definitely isn't) trying to delegitimise it as a prelude to its elimination is extremely racist.
The footage of him in 2013 saying some Zionists 'don't understand English irony' despite having lived in the UK 'for a very long time, probably all their lives'. His bigoted portrayal of ‘Zionists’ as foreign to Britain and recognisable by their ignorance and humourlessness is utterly shameful, even by his low standards.

Does the interviewer or who ever is pulling the strings, think this is an acceptable approach to take given the seriousness of the situation in Gaza/Israel? Would it not be better to encourage peace no matter who said or did whatever? Perpetuating the negativity, the arguments, the anger or the hatred is a despicable thing to do and she should be ashamed. Did she conduct a similar interview with Netanyahu and give him as much stick? Of course not.

Anything less would be, and _is_ a demonstration of political bias - something that Corbyn is demonstrating in effect. You can't have it both ways.
The reason he is struggling to demonstrate otherwise is because he does have political and ethical bias, but he can't just come out and say it.
