No inns had me worried at first, for your max health would be terribly reduced for most of the run, then I remembered that camping kits are easy to find in the wild.
Good stuff dude! I think you’re right about the healing after 0hp thing. Obvi still possible it’s a glitch. But when you’re getting mobbed with no way to avoid chained hits, it only makes sense there’s a small kindness baked in to let you *try* getting back up. I was stuck in a chaining combo after having my stamina drained for over a minute. I used 30 roborants over that time. Still died since I ran out.
If you don’t take the agent’s bribe in the quest The Arisen’s Shadow, he gets captured and the quest progresses in a way that you can now cross the border as a human without using the stupid cat mask. PSA done
@@JLG35X I'm still not 100% sure what factors are at play here. The only Griffin that seems to be semi-consistent on this is the one that can attack you close to the boardertown. Just taking one of the two caves is more consistent tho. I guess flying on the sphinx works too, since she goes for the shrine between Vermund and Batthal after you finish the first set of riddles.
@@OSKGaming123 Love this game and the previous one but I don't think these are games meant to be hard and more on the veins of roleplaying, but if you are not being sarcastic I'll try to think of something interesting and fun. You on PC?
@@JLG35Xby that logic no one should do challenge runs in anything, unless the challenge is built in. Sand box games are meant to be treated as such. Your OP is belittling for no reason beyond “this game is so easy” which has been one of the biggest criticism of DD2. But it’s a weak criticism. Elden Ring is also easy unless you specifically avoid intentionally designed power increases.
I feel like if you want to do sidequests, it’s perfectly reasonable to change the rule to “no sidequest rewards” this way you can still help out little Flora in melve without breaking any rules
in checkpoint town if you wish to pass illegally just wait at the gate of battalh, it may take about 3-5 mins but i guarantee you the fancy cart will eventually appear
If you're doing a solo run in the future consider making yourself as heavy as possible as that increases carry weight. Only downside is it decreases stamina regen.
Thanks, and the song is the True Ending credits song for DD2. Also, the pawn only run has been done recently, but I'm working on a much more painful challenge currently that I think you will enjoy.
You should of allowed the pawn to jump to its own death at the first waterfall as you leave; as you jump back across from collecting the chest almost every time they leap into the water below 😂
by the way if you force exit the game when you die instead of selecting start from last save you dont suffer the life loss gauge, but it would be an exploit, the game intends to punish you when you die
The loss gauge getting smaller is only when you directly reload from the death screen. It's a "feature". If you go to the main menue and then load it doesn't happen. Also, about Digger ruins....there is a normal way to reach the chest w/o needing any specific vocation or pawns. Fighter was a bold choice. the arguably worst class in any regard:damage/defense/utility/augments.
For my first few days I wasn't aware that you could skip time on the oxcarts.. humiliating but I basically played upto a certain point by literally walking everywhere. sat in an oxcart whilst I rolled a smoke and ended up going into the south of the map 😂 fricking minotaur attacks my team, then that gets attacked by what I assuming was a chimera. Ended up in a death loop before finally giving in and loading my last Inn save 😂 Its a real love/hate game in the early days, so easy to male huge mistakes.
I think you got the fire resist because you had the "drenched" debuff. Possibly from a goblin throwing something at you or falling into water.
At another time, I was drenched and didn't have it, so idk
It worked like this in the first game, not sure if the devs kept that mechanic. It would make sense.
Loss gauge reduction every time you die isn't a bug, it's actually an intended mechanic. It's in the tutorial tab by the by.
Huh well that's what I get for not looking too closely I guess lol

Indeed. Reason I didn't do that is because it's technically a side quest
once you have the permit to live as a resident you dont need that paper and there are multiple ways to cross into Bathal.

can i ask for the song that plays in the end?

Nothing that's credible. I'm going to dive into the Nexus when I finally get bored
@@OSKGaming123 but im pretty sure it'll be better once they add expansion. same case as dd1 it was boring with the base game but dark arisen delivered
Sure, it's a possibility. I'd love for Capcom to recognize the potential of this franchise to allow them to do more with more time and resources too.
you can just make the fruit roberant for the kid. you don't have to buy it
You can grab almost the best shield in the game from Castle treasury and not spend all playthrough with the starting shield))
To day we’re going to play DD2, BUT we do NOT play DD2 0:22 - 1:05
What a scrub, beat the game while breathing all the way through.
6:53 btw, look at that deer choosing death rather than the bridge like others (X
You can beat it fist only too it’s just a skill issue
You probably can, I for one cannot...
Basically I'm not even gunna play this game even 90% gunna call this a challenge
This mission is SOO easy, you have to spend 0 money, no camps, no pawns, 1 life, no maister skills, AND as a trickster
Wanna play DD2 rn but cant because psn servers are down 😭
