Judy reminds me so much my dad. He had that same gift of storytelling, he could tell the most devastating stories and turn them into comedy. That is such a gift
Judy's stories are so funny and entertaining😍 I love her big hearty lovely laugh. It's so genuine. I wish she would have lived longer. Who knows what hilarious stories she would have told. Who knows what other entertainment she would have created. God bless you Judy. May you rest in peace. Thank you for creating the gems of movies, TV shows, and concerts for us to enjoy, love, and adore you forever. ❤
Her voice is so entertaining the way she tells a story is amazing. She told a story about Orson Welles and a play he was doing in Wash D.C. and when Orson met Oscar LeVant, on the 1962 Jack Paar show which is hilarious!
Finally, a Judy fan who isn't nasty or Bitter! I have received so many nasty comments when all I try to do I remind people she was just Human and had issues and dealt with them the way she knew how. You post some good cilps. keep up the good work. :)
I have only recently discovered UA-cam.. I am so grateful to the people who post this stuff. On Broadway soon is a show from the UK about Judys' final days. It very good. John.
She's so funny and charming and charismatic and darling. A grear story teller. Nobody told stories better. She could have had a career telling stories about her career
Judy did vaudeville, radio, black and white television, color television, great singer, dancer, could tap dance, theater, Broadway, movies, comedy. Wonderful. Facts and achievements. Great style in manners, speaking voice, and fashion from head to toe.
@NFitalianGuy i completely agree...these clips should be made available for everyone to enjoy...i also hope Mark comes back soon...he had some really great stuff :(
That will be awesome. They both were on the 1962 Jack Paar Show. You should also use part of her and Robert Goulet talking & How Jack Paar was teasing that he lost control of the show when Judy and Goulet talked amongst themselves. Another Story Judy was very funny is when she talked to Johnny Carson during the June 1968 interview about the MGM school days. she mentions a funny name actress who didn't make it in the business. LOL and about her days in Vaudeville and a man who threwup 4 a living
@GoldenEraDame My buddy Mark A.K.A. ChunkyLumps, Got booted off youtube becauseof CopyRright infringment. He posted the 1967 Judy & Jack Paar interview. I wish Mark the best of luck & come back to youtube ASAP. The ppl who own the copyright to clips like these, really shouldnt complain if no one's making money on the material. Material that's over 40+ yrs ago & most of the stars are deceased. There's a market out there for these classic moments.
I just discovered you and your Judy channel. I love love love this. I automatically subscribed. I can't tell you how much joy this gives me. Judy was and still is such a huge talent. She sang, acted, danced, and told the funniest stories. I love the lilt in her voice. She obviously enjoyed life...even if she did know tragedy.
In the story of the yellow brick roAd on the Jack Parr Show, I always think that she looks like Rizzo from Grease, but I've never seen any other footage or pictures where she looks how she did on that show, I guess it's the lighting.
I was watching something on Judy and my daughter in law said is that Rizzo from Grease . I said OMG. Do not mistake Judy Garland with Stockard Channing.
Judy was so funny and had the best sense of humor than anyone I know of ! She was extremly talented and oh so very funny too ! She was niot the tragic figure people made her out to be but she did have tragic things happen to her ! But she herself was not tragic ! She never saw herself as tragic and nethier do her fans ! She was too busy being funny to be that negative !
God, if only she could’ve lived longer. She would’ve been great as a guest on Letterman or Leno and I have a feeling she would’ve appeared frequently with all her stories.
Anyone else notice she uses "Great Big" to refer to a Rolls Royce, a record bigger than 12 inches, and 3 men in a maternity ward in this compilation alone?

@mswesty81... I was being sarcastic. Judy was passed over for Kelly, but I've never seen it shown on TCM. I'm sure she was fine in the role, but she didn't hold a candle to Judy in "a star is born".
Don't assume something you don't know. Were you there? Judy deserves more respect than you're giving her. She was treated like an object, not like a living, breathing, feeling human being. Get her on stage, get her in front of the camera, feed her full of pills, the commissary was told to serve her broth only (no matter what she orders).Judy walked onto Metro a sweet charming kid, and walked out an emotional wreck. So take your harsh statement and stick it where the sun don't shine.
@terrygrant3467 Not to mention many Judy historians, including John Fricke who is arguably the #1 Judy historian of all time, did extensive research on her in regards to drinking (as that was a big Hollywood myth on her). The folks who knew her all said that she was mostly a sipper when it came to alcohol. She drank more coca-cola than alcohol. What caused her slurring and such was the medication she was on which we all know the studio addicted her to believing that if a doctor prescribed it, there was nothing wrong with it. That appears to be backed up by the coroner who did an inquest into who death as he said he didn't see any signs of alcoholism in her. Something confirmed in "Autopsy" as well when that doctor analyzed her report. People really should do their full research before reading media reports and making uncalled for comments for sure.
Judy reminds me so much my dad. He had that same gift of storytelling, he could tell the most devastating stories and turn them into comedy.
That is such a gift
i really don't see how anyone can be bitter when we are left with such amazing gifts like these
Judy's stories are so funny and entertaining😍 I love her big hearty lovely laugh. It's so genuine. I wish she would have lived longer. Who knows what hilarious stories she would have told. Lucille Ball said Judy was funniest person she had ever known in her life. Later wanted Desi Jr to marry Liza!

Oh Judy, how marvelous at all
Times. Thank you dear Judy, for taking us over the

We miss and Love you so.
Love every magical thing about her :)
the Orson Welles story is my favourite and as soon as I get to it, I'm going topost it in another one of these videos
I love at the end when she says "But I was nominated!" :P
Great idea to put these hilarious stories of Judy’s together. I never tire of hearing them.
I love that 'great big' is her go to phrase.
she is so funny when she laughs! :)
I have only recently discovered UA-cam.. I am so grateful to the people who post this stuff. On Broadway soon is a show from the UK about Judys' final days. It very good. John.
I just love her to pieces.
So funny, talented, and beautiful...what more can you ask for? :D
She's so funny and charming and charismatic and darling.
A grear story teller.
Nobody told stories better. She could have had a career telling stories about her career
I think her laugh at 0.15 is the cutest laugh i ever heard!! x
this is great -- thanks for making this
wasn't it Groucho who said, when she did not get the Oscar 'the greatest robbery since Brinks' ....
Yes.
Boy he hit the nail on the head.
i know what you mean...that's why i created these videos, so i can watch them over and over and over...:D

criminal that she didn't get the award. some actors got the "life time achievement" did she even get a posthumous nod?

Quiz...
What's the name of the movie Grace Kelly won the Oscar for?
No, it isn't "A Star is Born".
The County Girl
@mswesty81...
I was being sarcastic. Judy was passed over for Kelly, but I've never seen it shown on TCM. I'm sure she was fine in the role, but she didn't hold a candle to Judy in "a star is born".
Who knows, i guess whre not lucky enough to have people around like this anymore.
She is drunk as cooter brown
