Nah for these it’s easy. When you get to the point with some cards where you’re just like “do I care for these anymore?” It’s an easy decision. I’m still holding my favorites. These deserve a better home

In all seriousness, I’m glad you did something like this, it’s always a difficult decision to make when you been collecting for a while but knowing it’s better off in someone else’s hands compared to yours is what makes us a community. Much love ❤
I did the same thing I sold all my Pokémon and yugioh cards over 200 alt arts kept some that had sentimental value. Although I’m moving on to better cards :) I’m proud of you we all have to move on at some point ! I’ll probably keep my sealed product though :)

you sold me a PSA 9 gold star charizard after I reached out to you via email back in 2018, still have it. And as of now I have officially obtained every gold star in a 9, and that zard was my first one. Will always have a ton of sentimental value to me, thanks again for selling it to me man.

I love DMG cards and I would like to collect 1 of each artwork in English print. Although if I could get the Japan only releases of her as well that would be awesome. I feel the same about the Dark Magician itself also.

Magi Magi Girl wasn't in the TCG for censoring, The image was art from the creator and was never approved for import. Since he passed it'll never come to the TCG as that art work.. I wouldn't get rid of that card

Wait....the three stars on the sticker indicate that it's a reprint???? I've always on gone off the position of the flavor texting. Because the texting positioning is different from the OG's and the reprints. I did the SAME exact then when I was grading Exodia pieces! I had an arm that was a reprint be labeled as a 2002, and that just didn't sit right with me [Ended up actually getting an OG and it graded a 9.5 (: ]

Damn, ya know. You’re far more mature than you present yourself, I’ve seen collectors fall into denial about enjoying their collection sometimes and refuse to let go off what they put so much energy into. Same kinda thing with gatcha games. The chase is far more fun than having a pile of stuff collecting dust.

when youre looking at cards to get graded do you use a tool to look or just send it in after the ol eyeball check? lol
I eyeball them. If you dont see damage or any blurs on the card, they always tend to grade high

@@chriso5106 All good. I just wanna cut down on all my stuff I dont care about as much. when I got back into pokemon specifically, my goal was only charizards and mewtwos. Once I hit that, I started going after cards I THOUGHT I needed but in all reality they never brought me that much joy. Thats another reason I just want to cut down on stuff. Not even just cards, but I even cut down on a bunch fo figures I had in the back of my set.

First of all, he’s not selling his collection lol he’s selling some cars in his collection. And if investors are selling, that’s the time the prices are highest. Not the other way around. People don’t spend money and invest and then sell when the prices drop. You buy when the price is dropping you sell and the prices are high. I’m not trying to be a jerk, but comments like this are beyond stupid lol the prices dropped and have been dropped for years and they keep slowly dropping and people realize the game is over, that’s a different. That’s clearly not the case yet.

@@jessejive117 investors will absolutely still sell their inventory even at less than what they paid. Sometimes they'll figure the prices won't get higher and just eat the loss so they can reinvest somewhere else, especially when they think the stuff they have is bound to keep dropping.
I'm not sayin that's what's going on here, just that there is a thing called "race to the bottom" with investments.
