    We love our EF River 2! Five days at home with no electricity-tried our River 2 power banks, and they powered devices, lamps, TV and wifi plus a fan for 2x7 hr periods. LOVE them and we’re about to try out the solar panels for charging them.

    I have a sloped roof that faces east and west; in the morning, there is shade on the west, and after 12 p.m., there is shade on the east. So, if I plan 5 panels on the east and 9 panels on the west, do I need optimizers on all of them to achieve maximum efficiency or Its enough to put microinverters on the east side panels and string inverters on the west side and combine both? Another thing is - is it advisable to avoid the 5 on the east and connect all of the 9 on the west in series for higher efficiency? I'm wondering - - If I have 15 microinverters on all of the panels, will it be expensive and ineffective because we get sun mostly on the west side and no sun on the east side after 12 p.m., so what is the point of having one on the east? -i am confused.. Could you please answer? I appreciate it.

    hi ecoflow crew, i have a question before buying a solar panel. i wanna buy a river 2 which has max 110w solar input and i wanna buy a 160w solar panel and place it in cars front window which may be prevent a bit of sunlight with reduced watt of lets say 120 watt. would my river 2 still charge even i use a 160 watt panel with rate of 110 watt?

    Ecoflow, please help me. I’m planning to make a slide roof rack on my van to act like an awning, and also to have more of your flexible panels installed to charge a Delta Pro. But I have a question: how can I connect 6* of your 200W flexible panels to the Delta Pro?

    I just purchased a Delta Pro and extra battery, along with two 400W EcoFlow solar panels. I also received a 220W bifacial panel for free. Is it possible to use all three panels together, or should I just use the bigger ones together? I purchased the XT60i cable and a solar parallel connection cable as well, although I'm thinking the connection cable will probably not be needed.... What is the best way to wire these together? I'm pretty new at all this and although this is probably a simple question, I just want to make sure not to mess anything up.

      Hi there, it is not suggested to chain panels of different sizes together, the efficiency will be affected. To charge a Delta Pro, two 400W panels connected in series can work!

    I have the river 2, will one flexible 100W solar panel be ok, and fi so how do I connect it to the river 2 ?

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  8 місяців тому +1

      Hi there, yes one flexible 100W solar panel is fine to charge the River 2. Simply plug the solar charging cable into the solar charging input port at the back of the RIVER 2.

    Have an eco flow pro max. Planning to use sporadically during Emergency power outage. Would like to hang or lean the panel(s) inside the garage windows, that face southwest in south Texas. Is my best option to hang a couple of flexible panels in each window?

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  Рік тому

      Hi there! You can hang the panels out and just make sure there are no shades.

      Use a ladder and lay them out flat on the roof of the garage. Midday sun is strongest and flat is perfect then. You need angled in the morning and at the end of the day. Just hanging in a window will work but it's not ideal at all.

    What connector do I need to connect the rigid panel to Ecoflow Deltla 2. XT60 or XT60i?

    Will it be safe to charge an ecoflow river using 2 of these 100w rigid solar panels that are connected in parallel? Please let me know. Thanks.

    • @EcoFlowTech
      @EcoFlowTech  Рік тому

      Hi do you mean River 1 or with 288Wh or others? If it is, the 2 100W panels can only be used in in parallel with no more than 25V open circuit voltage. Btw, are the panels from EcoFlow?

    • @Glenr130
      @Glenr130 Рік тому

      Thanks for responding to my earlier question. If I may ask, will a 2-100w ecoflow rigid solar panels in parallel be safe to use on a bluetti eb3a?

    • @Glenr130
      @Glenr130 Рік тому

      The bluetti eb3a unit has the following charging requirements...200w max solar input, 12-28v (8.5A), so if I use 2 of these 100w rigid or flexible solar panels from ecoflow connected in parallel, will the eb3a unit be safely charged? Please clarify. Thanks.

    Stop using the carry case as the stand. Provide a kickstand on each panel.

    Still bugs me that a panel sold at "100W" will in normal conditions only produce ≤ 80W. Why not sell it as 80W and be honest to customers?

    • @Liberal.Linda.
      @Liberal.Linda. 5 місяців тому +2

      Because people like me with limited space NEED to know the max they are capable of producing so we can plan accordingly. Saying they can produce 100W IS honest. Saying it's only capable of producing 80W is a lie.

    • @StinkyPopi
      @StinkyPopi 4 місяці тому

      @@Liberal.Linda. so the 100W is in the perfect/laboratory conditions? So should i expect about 80% of what they say on full sun, no shade?

      Nope, many panels out there saying max 100watts never, ever happen . I fully agree , it’s annoying to rate 100watts if it never happens .
