It is commonly assumed that Dark Aether Zombies is in a parallel universe to the campaign/multiplayer universe. One could argue that C/MP and Zombies are in the same universe, with examples such as recurring characters, which can be explained away by the parallel universe theory. However, due to the events that take place on Liberty falls, it is implied that Zombies is cannon to the C/MP universe. This is evident by the fact that the multiplayer map “rewind”, and the zombie map “Liberty Falls” take place in the same town at separate times. Suggesting a government agency performed a cover-up after the events of Liberty Falls. Liberty Falls is a deliberate example of congruent events between zombies, and campaign/multiplayer. With the statement above, it should be noted that, unlike MW, Cold War is not a reboot, and takes place after BO1. This retroactively implies Dark Aether zombies are in BO2 - BO4 campaign/MP. This leads one to believe that there are two separate timelines. One in which element 115, or Agarthans, created the zombies, and one where the Agarthan Device created the dark Aether. However, without the events of WaW Zombies, a chain reaction could not take place with the creation of the Dark Aether universe. So timeline wise, BO4 Zombies is the first game in the campaign/MP universe, and WaW Zombies the first game in the entire Treyarch/Modern Warfare universe. It should also be noted that Vanguard canonized the events of the Chaos story line to the Dark Aether universe. Effects of which causes Chaos to actually be Dark Aether. From my understanding of the timeline. The events of WaW - BO4 Zombies takes place before the events BO2 - BO4 C/MP and BO4 chaos zombies. This implies, unless there are shenanigans I’m unaware of, WaW Zombies takes place prior to WaW C/MP. This, in a metatextual way, makes WaW paradoxically its own origin in the overarching timeline. Some fun things this messy timeline creates are that, before sinking, the Titanic was full of zombies. This is a plot hole, because bullet residue and prima material would be exposed to the public. BO4 zombies has a chronological order of maps, and not two separate story lines as previously thought. The multiplayer characters would exist in the same universe as the Chaos crew. Blackout implies, with the inclusion of characters from the Aether universe, in the form of “Archetypes”, that Savanah Mason-Meyer has knowledge and access to other universes. As well as locations from the Aether universe. This is huge due to the fact it implies the Aether universe was not destroyed as severely as previously thought, as she would have to acquire perfect data to recreate the previously stated Archetypes, and locations. JFK, Robert McNamara and Fidel Castro have parallel versions. Hypothetically, just like Richthofen, they could cross into Dark Aether, and would exist in the same universe as themselves. This is different from Richthofen, and Samatha who do not appear to have two concurrent versions. It is implied that non-fictional people would (i.e. the cast of Call of the Dead, and the cast of Five). It is possible that other Aether characters have a parallel self. Something I find funny is that Nuketown zombies predates Nuketown the multiplayer map, and could be the inspiration for all other versions of Nuketown. In conclusion, Black Ops 6 implies WaW Zombies is the origin of the Modern Warfare Reboot/Treyarch universe, and makes WaW its progenitor. With the essay above, the timeline, as of 2024, would start with WaW zombies, and end with BO3 C/MP. Games such as BO1, MW reboot, and CW would therefore take place between these two games. The only thing that can’t be explained is the fact that B-list celebrities are able to shoot lasers out of her eyes, and there are cat people. There must be something in the Dark Aether. I enjoyed the airtight game play, and storyline of the old CODs. Everything was grounded, and even cosmetics could be explained. BO3, and BO4 multiplayer takes place in simulation which can explain whacky cosmetics, and unrealistic maps. my guess for the scientist sequence of the trailer is that after they built the bio weapon(could be Nova 6)they used it on them to test it the same way Dragovich used it on Dimitri Petrenko in BO1 and that's maybe what they see in the projector recording
The place you said looks like terminus looks identical to the area where PAP is in Die Machine to me. Also the Zombie's suit looks like an oil covered version of the Silverback?
At 49 seconds that is giving me major zombies vibes, something about the color and the pieces of buildings we are seeing says Liberty Falls to me for some reason. Could be wrong on that but that would be a sick thing to see in zombies
this might sound crazy, but wouldnt it be cool if we secretly got a new Five map but instead of the pentagon it is somewhere else and has like Bill Clinton and a bunch of other well known figures at that time in it. i miss having that secret surprise stuff that we had back in black ops 1 where youd beat the campaign and unlock a new zombies map.
If I let my hopium hit harder than it should... I'd love a parallel situation that happens like the intro to Origins. Nazi's digging for relics vs drilling for oil in the Middle-East. Having an outbreak with oil-drenched zombies emerging from the desert would go so hard... If I put down the hopium, it's probably just a dark scene from one of the zombies maps and they threw it in to misdirect us.
In 2019, Call of Duty was in a state where they were forced to make a change and put out something that felt and looked very different. It's the standard we know today. I'm waiting for that to happen again before I play another CoD game. I want them to be on the ropes again, forced to actually give us something that isn't the standard.
I have to say, the marketing team is ON IT, the gameplay slice side of marketing is not, I hope this does not lead to fewer pre release gameplay reveals.
Well it makes sense about the campaign having zombies in it because all the timelines are and how the old going around the world so it's possible for them accidentally running into a outbreak area and it will make it more cooler that the stories are connected

Milo sees a mentally deranged human
“Is this a zombie?!”
With orange glowing eyes though?
@@shaun_the_sheip2775oh it’s just a joke lol my bad
@@thecosmonaut4221 Understood. Pardon my autism.
Every black ops since like 3 has the heady memories/hallucination mission. Could be something like that
The sphere very much reminds me of the sphere you trap the forsaken in, in Cold War. Which would mean Richtofen is hiding so much more than thought
NEW ENEMY TYPE WHAAAT?!!!!
It's been 5 years of Manglers, Disciples, Mimics and Abominations... give me new enemies!!
my guess for the scientist sequence of the trailer is that after they built the bio weapon(could be Nova 6)they used it on them to test it the same way Dragovich used it on Dimitri Petrenko in BO1 and that's maybe what they see in the projector recording
Putting zombies in campaign is definitely a surefire way to get me to play it. Really hope it comes true
Bro you are the marketing at this point.
Why do i think it's gonna be like that one campangne mission in bo3 where it's all trippy and has zombies in it
Ahh yes.. I remember having zombies during the gulf war.. yeah my grandfather fought in it and told me all about the zombies 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Milo needs to create his own teleporter and find the summoning key so we can all go back to the original timeline where zombies was good
Milo this could be maybe what happened during the BO3 campaign where if you complete it then you can re-run enemies in campaign as zombies instead???
lmaoo you know we hungry for zombies info when we using launch trailers for breakdowns but just 20 days awayyyy
The place you said looks like terminus looks identical to the area where PAP is in Die Machine to me.
Also the Zombie's suit looks like an oil covered version of the Silverback?
My guy is in a feverish dream today 😂 he gonna wake up playing vanguard 😢😂
That shot of the biological weapon looks like the thing in the basement of the Liberty Falls trailer
4:20 why is he oiled up?!?!?!
At 49 seconds that is giving me major zombies vibes, something about the color and the pieces of buildings we are seeing says Liberty Falls to me for some reason. Could be wrong on that but that would be a sick thing to see in zombies
this might sound crazy, but wouldnt it be cool if we secretly got a new Five map but instead of the pentagon it is somewhere else and has like Bill Clinton and a bunch of other well known figures at that time in it. i miss having that secret surprise stuff that we had back in black ops 1 where youd beat the campaign and unlock a new zombies map.
maybe they're bringing back nightmares as its own standalone campagin
If I let my hopium hit harder than it should... I'd love a parallel situation that happens like the intro to Origins. Nazi's digging for relics vs drilling for oil in the Middle-East. Having an outbreak with oil-drenched zombies emerging from the desert would go so hard...
If I put down the hopium, it's probably just a dark scene from one of the zombies maps and they threw it in to misdirect us.
But have you seen all of The Replacer marketing they’ve been doing? They’re going crazy with him😂
Treyarch!! Give me a buried/partially buried pyramid map in the Middle East!
Maybe the scientist in the lab room banging on the glass is showing how the avogadro was created? There’s electricity in there pulsing 🤔
Just a prisoner in a plexiglass cell…moving on
In 2019, Call of Duty was in a state where they were forced to make a change and put out something that felt and looked very different.
Looks like a zombie juggernaut
Calling it now, its a mangler in a dream sequence covered in oil
