Good list. Here are some things I learned from VH to add. 1. Goblins are specialist units. Like you mentioned fanatics with loons can do great burst damage. Spider rider archers can poison the enemy front line and make life easier for your line. Nasty Skulkers are great to flank and cut through armored infantry (dwarfs). 2. Your orc boys will serve you for the whole game. Even when you have black orcs, shielded infantry will be useful to absorb arrows while you move to contact. 3. Keep trolls behind your frontline and charge them through the line. This way they will be boosted by your lord and hero's encouragement and will help your orc boys rip through the enemy front line. 4. Boar boys and chariots are your anti missile units. They will rip through enemy archers but are not good at challenging cavalry. For antilarge use your big uns and arachnaroks. 5. Your magic is actually really good. Goblin shamans are your buff and debuff lore. And orc shamans are for straightforward damage. The foot of Gork is your answer to other melee factions.
big boss huts, they give amazing public order and corruption reduction. Also dont invade the Chaos Wastes since the corruption and order penalties are steep.
You didn't mention Skarsnik's faction effect -40% upkeep cost for goblin units. His faction can mantain twice as much armies than other Greenskins. This gives you apocalyptical Whaaaghs.
Greenskins characters can also get the mushroom addicted trait which stacks with Skarsnick's discount and also stacks with itself if you have more than one character. So it is possible to have 0 upkeep goblin armies. They might not be very good but they are free so you can get as many of them as you want. Also having a bunch of armies raiding really helps get that waaaagh going.
@@oliverterry5941 many people are then or are running two stacks with goblins and just enough orcs to win battles, to double their expansion rate early game

Any unit with shields are useful as meat shields and orc boys are great for that.
Those fanatics really recked my tabletop chaos back in the old days 😅
Fanatics is definitely the right term of lots of green skin units
Im starting with grimgor and i got honestly screwed over by chaos corruption, not sure how to deal with it.

@@LordForwindBut you should take out Kolek at 1st chance possible, as at the start he's pretty weak and Grimgor can solo him.
@@jshadowhunterYeah taking him out is good, but keeping going is a bad move early game
@@LordForwind I mean, destroy him and then make peace with his former vassal.
@@jshadowhunterYep!

I deliberately avoided most specific mechanics, thats in the large video guide though!

Nice vid gg
Ty!
grimgor campaign dont touch any goblins. u dont need to. just go full on black orcs use the spiders as the arrows and get giants and doomseekers.
Yeah, goblins are there if you can't afford a full army
@@LordForwind if u can't afford a full army of orcs your playing grimgor all wrong
