With many customers frustrated over double-digit receipts while ordering from fast-food restaurants, McDonald’s is exploring a $5 value meal nationwide. Two people familiar with the plan say it would include four-piece chicken McNuggets, a choice of a McChicken or McDouble, fries and a drink.

I guess you can label it a deal for today's standard. You remember the 19 cent hamburger back in the day? Wouldn't say the food tastes great, just fills the stomach.

1970, then around .28 cents by 1975. Don't remember the 60's menu, was only 8yrs old

That's amazing really, yesterday a regular cheeseburger menu price was $2.39

I think the pie's back then were a quarter or 28 cents. I usually go there for breakfast, 2 Mc Griddles for $5.51, or 2 Mc Muffins with scrambled egg, same price deal.

apple pies are decent when hot. I refuse to pay full price so check those receipts for those survey coupons (usually bogo offers).
