  • As a coach, trust is crucial to influencing and leading your clients. In this video, I share six ways to build trust with your coaching clients.
1 - Show up on time and end the coaching session on time: Be early, organized, and communicate trust.
2 - Show up with a positive attitude and be fully present: Give your undivided attention and create a safe space.
3 - Be supportive and non-judgmental: Normalize their behavior and create a safe space for vulnerability.
4 - Keep conversations 100% confidential: Like a priest or marriage counselor, keep confidentiality to build trust.
5 - Follow through on your commitments: Be accountable and model keeping commitments to your clients.
6 - Send session notes quickly: Build credibility and trust by sending notes same-day, if possible.

This is solid, practical wisdom. Wondering if you have stories from your own experience to drive home these points. Bet you do!
