Thank you for the tips! The lady’s I chose to be sale reps aren’t selling me to clients that want to pay a decent price for service. I needed this tip and pep talk. I have been working hard but not on the clientele I want or need. Things need to change.
Direct sales consultants are great in-between clients! Such as your local Tupperware consultant, or Avon and Mary Kay. We have to have nice nails. Our clients are looking at our hands, not our faces. Why? We're demonstrating our products! So when our clients see your nails, they'll want to know who does our nails. And then we can refer them to you guys.
I have the opposite problem. I got a nail tech I love, people asked me where I got my nails done, and now it's hard to get an appointment when I need one. all the salons wanna do these days is stupid dip powders. It's hard to find a decent gel tech.
Well I left my nail tech for more reasons. First of all, the retention was terrible. The product lifted and fell off after a week. I was blamed that my nails arent strong enough to hold the product. In addition she didnt do the techniques I would like to wear( e.g. tiger eye, nail strip,soft 3D patters). Since I do it myselft I can achieve overlay lasting for 4 weeks and I do whatever I want.
I'm a DIYer and had a quick question about full cover tips: Is it okay to apply with the gel instead of glue? I thought I remembered you and Jim doing a video about this topic, but I can't find it or remember the takeaways 🤦♀️ Thank you!!
How do you use monomer at home? The smell is too crazy. The only option was using it outside 😄. When I do use it how do I store & dispose it. How often should I dispose it? 💅🏻
